I would like to request the ability to have a clock for the meeting recording. I was taking notes and recording the timestamp but then realized the time was based on the start of when *I* entered the meeting and not actual meeting time.  I like to take notes with timestamps of the recording in the event we have to go back to the recording for additional details. Thanks.

automatic recording does not turn on, although all the sliders are properly positioned. What to do?I've already changed the settings several times, re-logged in, nothing changes.

I accidentally deleted my recorded zoom meetings following a complete reset of my device. Do you know if there's a way to recover them? They were saved locally on my computer.

I have many recurring meetings set up with an expiration date at the end of 2025 that are no longer showing up my list of Upcoming Meetings. This started on Saturday, 12.9.22 for one of my business accounts and then it happened on my other business account today.  The meetings are still listed in Previous Meetings and I can go in and edit each one. The expiration date still says 12.31.2025 and when I re-enter that date and Save it, the meeting shows back up in the Upcoming Meetings list.  Is there an easier fix for this so I don't need to do this for every recurring meeting? 

Unable to sign into Zoom with email address, google, apple of facebook. Errors change from check proxy and firewall settings, error code 1000600, check network connection. This happens across all devices across site. No firewall or proxy enabled on device. Cache cleared, device reimaged, checked settings. Nothing seems to be working.

Hello, I am a music teacher and I use the Zoom platform to teach guitar and other instrument lessons.Because there is a delay in playing along with my students, for classes I need the students to play over backing tracks that I prepare before having the class. This is easily solved if my student has a second device (another cell phone, tablet or computer) from which to play the tracks. The problem is that many times the students do not have another way to play these tracks and the class cannot be completed. I try to play the tracks by sharing from the Zoom application, but when I do this I cannot continue listening to the student playing their instrument, and if I ask my student to minimize the Zoom application to play the track from WhatsApp they cannot hear it well because the Zoom application makes the volume of other applications lower. This is a bit frustrating, and I would like to know if you as music teachers have managed to solve this situation.

Why does the audio test fail to give more than 1 second of sound on a given speaker? Yet in a zoom meeting, both the microphone and the speaker seems to work fine? This seems to be a glitch in the audio test for speakers itself. Has anyone else encountered this problem? How do you get the audio test to work properly again? Does deleting the zoom account and then restoring it back again help? 

Hi I run Windows 10, multiple browsers and the zoom app. I use zoom most days for work. We use company zoom accounts. Today when I logged into an online zoom meeting as host  as I do every day, zoom said the virtual background could not be loaded and the result was my video was turned off by zoom. I had a grey screen with a camera logo with a line through it instead of my camera working as normal. I tried logging in from different browsers, same result except zoom didn't tell me the virtual background couldn't be loaded, it just disabled the camera. I tried different zoom accounts, I tried the zoom app. Same result. I checked the settings for both the app and the online zoom system and both systems had 'none' highlighted for a virtual background. Switched my computer off and on ... no change. Cleared cookies / cache - no joy. I tried zoom for one of the accounts on my iphone using the zoom app and it worked fine. The problem is with my computer. Any ideas?

WOW!!! Zoom what happened??  The recent updates to the Zoom user interface when accessing your account online are simply AWESOME!!!  The new layout brings a look and feel that is modern and fresh.  Navigation is easy and things have now been grouped and easily accessible from the moment you log in!!!   Great Job Zoom!!!    

I have three recurring meeting which each run weekly. I normally have chat disabled in all my meetings, but I'd like to enable chat for just one of those three sets of meetings.  Is there a way to do this using templates or something? Or do I have to go into settings before/after each of these meetings. I admit that I don't really understand how templates work, so be gentle with me!!

Hi, i was trying to gather data using Zoom Network diagnostic tools for my study. Hello, please help. Every time I join a Zoom meeting, after a few minutes my screen freezes. I can still hear the audio, but I can no longer see anything or type. When I click, I get the message: "Zoom is not responding." It gives me the option to close the program or wait for it to respond. How can I fix this? I've already reinstalled Zoom three times. I can't attend my classes. I have Windows 11. Thank you.

If I choose to upgrade to 500 participant zoom while im hosting a zoom meeting will that subscription go into full effect during the call and increase the capacity? @Everyone 

I conducted a meeting using Zoom, and participants from China were unable to join the meeting. The error code was 13215, and participants from other countries had no such issues. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this matter, please help.

I received an email with a no-reply address that said, "Your paid subscription has previously expired. You have lost access to Cloud Recordings. They will be set to be deleted from our systems in 30 days from the date of this email unless you renew your paid subscription."Where do I find out if I have any Cloud recordings? I went to My Account and looked under Recording / Cloud Recordings but didn't see anything there.I want to make I sure I don't have any Cloud recordings that I don't have backed up anywhere else that I might lose.

For the past few months I have had to close out of zoom then re-open it while a meeting is going on in order to get the full 5x5 gallery view on my iPad.  If I don't my screen is limited to 3x4 on each screen.  Also, when the screen is full, the top row controls cuts off the video participants.  I have hoped that zoom would fix these bugs but have not seen anything in the past app updates.  Is anyone else experiencing these issues on an iPad?  I also have trouble screen sharing files from icloud drive.  If i start a new meeting, i have to duplicate a file in my Files app, otherwise, the file shows up as a blank grey screen when I screen share in zoom.  Very frustrating.....

Hi, I have noticed in the Zoom API that it reports the screen sharing quality as poor for a few calls where there was screen sharing involved. Curious to know what is the logic used to determine the quality as poor or good?

Over a year ago we were seeing titles like  "Zoom Linux App Now Supports Screensharing on  Wayland" but as far as I can tell this is not true now and has never ever been true.  There are some other posts here which point out the problem but they seem to have gone unnoticed by any people actually working for Zoom, so I will try to post another one and hopefully it will get some attention.  Basically, for a  long time screen sharing did not work at all, but finally Zoom made some fixes and now we can start up screen sharing.    But in my experience and that of others reported in some threads here, once  the screen sharing is started, it cannot be stopped.   This really makes screen sharing unuseable. PLEASE FIX ZOOM SO WE CAN STOP SCREEN SHARING ONCE IT HAS STARTED. The problem is twofold.   First, most significantly, the floating toolbar that al

Salve a tutti, ho bisogno di aiuto. Uso Zoom per fare lezioni di fisarmonica... io sono l' alevo.Tutto andava bene fino a che ho dovuto cambiare notebook, ora non riesco più a sentire òa fisarmonica del maestro, sembra quasi che zoom la elimini, quasi come venisse recepita come un rumore di fondo, la stessa cosa con altri strumenti musicali, si sente solo la voce.Qualcuno può aiutarmi?Grazie. Francesco

During a meeting, when I share my screen, Zoom places my thumbnail at the top right corner. I can move it around while I record, BUT... it doesn't move at all on the recording itself.  It is always in the top right corner on the recorded video, despite having moved it around during the recording process. Is there way to choose where I want the thumbnail to appear on the recording itself?

Problem: When I spotlight multiple people while recording the recording only shows a single person speaker view.I can record on the cloud and this still happens and I can record to my computer and it happens.I have looked for this all over the Zoom forum and it seems no one has solved it. I am very surprised that Zoom has not solved this because it deeply effects a lot of the people who create courses, products, and host multiple meetings world wide with leaders that need to be seen by teams, podcast interviews etc. If I am missing something please help me, I have not found a proper solve for this.

Where can I change the topic once and for allMy topic currently reads  "[My Name]'s Personal Meeting Room." Can I change the meeting topic for all my meetings instead of manually adding the topic I want all my invitations to have the same topic i.e. «name of the company | Zoom invitation»

El día 21 de marzo realice una reunión de zoom con coanfitriones iniciando desde la web, por fallas del pc me retire de la reunión e ingrese por medio del teléfono, nuevamente se presentó un inconveniente con la red e ingrese desde el programa zoom instalado en otro pc con el mismo usuario. Se verificó que la reunión continuara y entre los cambios se evidenciaba que la grabación seguía en curso (informaba el audio recording in progress) Al verificar el audio en la nube no se encuentra completa solo la última parte. ¿Cómo puedo recuperar la grabación? Esta no se encuentra en eliminados. Gracias, es una respuesta urgente.

HelloI was contacted earlier by a company from Liverpool by phone. The company was called Unique Advertising but when I checked online, it said that the company was a possible scammer. I was expecting a call from Liverpool for another company. When I clicked on the link, it went to Zoom but then the host ended the call. There is some problem with my audio in group calls, sometimes I can share my "computer sound" on advanced options without any problem, but other times the sound comes in and out, low volume, or doesn't come out at all. In the beginning, I thought it was an issue of a conflict with my external microphone, but even when I used a wireless headset (audio + mic) I had the same issue. I never know if it will work or not. This has been a real struggle, I giving classes to these people and sometimes I have to re-record the class because of the glitches with the music.My microphone works perfectly, the issue is when I try to share background music (Spotify via advanced sharing).I have tried to change the speaker output both in Windows and in Zoom settings, but it doesn't solve it.Note: neither I nor the participants can hear the music.I already updated zoom and cleaned the cache.
