During group meetings, I have the "gallery" view, but when I record the meeting, it is recorded in the "speaker" option, which means that the person speaking is recorded in full screen, and the other meeting participants are not visible. Has anyone faced something similar? Is it possible to change it somewhere in the zoom settings so that the meetings are recorded in the "gallery" option?

Hello, A number of our people run Zoom meetings in a recovery community.  We're as subject to "bombing" as anyone else, and when one of us gets "hit," we try to get screen names of the offenders so we can share them with the group, to be on the lookout for these people.  I got hit last night with three of them doing the usual jitterbugging all over the screen so they're hard to identify, and was busy enough that I really couldn't get more than one screen name.  I removed them, one by one, and reported them to Zoom. What I'd like to know is, is there any way I can retrieve the screen names of the people I removed and reported, so I can alert the rest of our community?  Not that this is any guarantee of anything... if they had two brain cells to rub together, they would choose random names each time.  Are they recorded somewhere, or is there somewhere I can access records of people I had to remove?  Something like tha

When using the dual monitors setting, can it be configured to only show shared content and not speaker video? I really enjoy being able to see larger views of the shared content but find it very distracting to have the participants video HUGE when content is not being shared.

I created a meeting via the Zoom website.  It sent me a calendar invite with the registration link, but the meeting does not appear in the upcoming meetings in my Zoom account.

I am not receiving a join meeting link email after registering for a Zoom call, and I am wondering whether someone else has encountered this issue and has been able to resolve it.

I am trying to put my picture in camera so that the other participant can see my picture in Zoom but I can get to do that. How can i do it. Thanks

I'm the owner/admin for our company's Zoom account and I regularly schedule Zoom meetings. Adding an alternative host has become impossible to set-up and I have to start the meeting and hand over the controls.  They have a business license and their email address added to the alternative host section.   It has not worked. Looking for a solution as this is has become problematic in our busy schedules. Thanks.

Is it possible to set up a face to face (on the computer) with my mother, who lives in Florida. Maybe something where I could send her a link along with other members of our immediate family just to say hello and chat about things in general. That would be great. I have to use this laptop but could the others use their Smartphones if thet wanted to? Wondering how to do this and what the cost would be. Thank you for the help.

 I cannot get any audio through my speakers or connected devices when using the Zoom client on either of two new Acer laptops.  When using the Zoom audio settings speaker test, I can see the graphic showing there is output, but there is no sound on the speakers.   All other apps that use audio are just fine on both laptops. Every diagnostic procedure has been tried, including but not limited to de-installing and reinstalling the audio drivers and the Zoom client, and the problem still persists. Windows and Zoom versions are current.  I have worked with the laptops’ manufacturer as well as the Geek Squad and others to diagnose the problem.  All parties point to the Zoom client itself.  I need help with this, as I cannot utilize my subscription with these laptops until the problem is resolved. 

Hi, I have budget to use, can I pay my Zoom subscription in advance? So if my current subscription expires say May 2025 is there a way to pay again, now, and extend my subscription to May 2026? I don't see a way to do this on the billing and payment page. Thanks.

My Windows PC version background selection slide control is not responsive from the Video settings in the online window of the app. I am able to choose from selections I have already uploaded as long as I don't need to scroll down to choose one, and I am able to add new ones. It has been working correctly until recently. Now the scroll bar is frozen, and will not allow me to scroll down to other backgrounds I have uploaded. I have updated the app to the latest version, but the problem remains.However, it functions normally from the settings/background & effects in the desktop window. That changes the online background as it should.

Hello, recently I had a zoom meeting. When I tried to connect from my mobile device and laptop it asked for a passcode. When I tried to open it from my desktop it opened as usual. I tried open other zoom links from my mobile device and laptop, they opened as well. can anyone explain where have I done wrong? 

Zoom keeps PAUSING playback of audio AND video in other applications Using Windows 11 and Zoom Version: 5.17.2 (29988).  If I am in a meeting I cannot play audio or video in any other applications for longer than 5 seconds at a time. It's no particular application, ANYTHING that is playing audio or video (Chrome, Edge, VLC Player, Spotify App) all pauses every 5 seconds. You hit play and you get another 5 seconds, then it pauses. The only work around I've found is to start playback BEFORE joining a meeting and then never touch it.If I'm watching Netflix and it changes episodes, that counts as 'touching it' and it starts pausing every 5 secondsIf I'm listening to Spotify and an advert kicks in, that counts as 'touching it' and it starts pausing every 5 seconds I'm convinced it's got something to do with my sound card drivers and what Windows thinks is the default playback de

Hi,I am unable to schedule recurring meetings with no fixed time. There is no button there anymore (only daily, weekly, monthly). Now, when I am trying to make a new recurring meeting it says that my account does not allow it. I have a pro membership and have not had an issue with this before. Any suggestions? So far, the Zoom help person gave me a generic response (to click "no fixed time") that did not answer the question.

I have an Android (Samsung Galaxy S10e) phone, and downloaded the Zoom app a couple years ago when I was away from my laptop. Everything worked great. But lately, I can access meetings just fine, but can only get video - no sound.  The sound is all the way up on my phone, I have checked the Permissions in the app settings,, and camera, microphone and phone are all checked.  The only change I've made recently is that my selected browser is DuckDuckGo.  Any ideas? I have about 16 poll questions set up in my meeting. When conducting the polls, it will randomly stop showing a Launch button to launch the polling question. First time it showed the first 5 with no problem, then starting with question 6, no Launch button. Next time it did all 16 without a problem. Then yesterday, the first 11 showed no problem, but starting with question 12, no Launch button. I tried closing the poll pane and re-opening it and exiting the meeting and rejoining. I'm up to date on the releases. When the launch button doesn't show, I have no way to show it (i.e. doesn't even provide a 'relaunch' option). Suggestions? TIA!

Hi,  I have an existing meeting I just started.  It's working fine,  but I cannot see a 'screen sharing' option during the meeting. Screen sharing is enabled under admin>account management>account settings>in meeting (basic) Host only is checked (enabled)Screen sharing presenter view is checked (enabled)Disable desktop screen sharing for meetings you host is not checked.  (so it's not disabled?)Disable screen sharing when guests are in the meeting is checked.  (disabled).   But there is still no screen sharing option when I'm testing the meeting as the only person (host) in the room.

If I unassociate with working live and resubscripe directly through zoom, will I retain the same meeting ID number?

Team, not sure why but as host of meetings I am no longer receiving notifications when people register.Send an email to host is Ticked.I have a valid email address, what do you suggest I do?
