When I start Zoom, I have to let all participants into the meeting. How can I ensure that the participants automatically enter the meeting without letting them in individually? What settings do I need to make?

Am I being fussy - as a trained sound man? - but I am sure users of Zoom could benefit from the option of an easy-access Tone Control.  Or EQ if you prefer. Why?  Some people in a group chat will use poor mics or even poorer technique - so they sound muffled or boomy.   Quick EQ is totally everyday in a broadcast studio, taking varied calls from correspondents and listeners.One flick of bass or treble, cut or boost, makes all the difference.   Indeed it is an Access issue that Zoom should by now be aware of. And, invented by Peter Baxandall in 1954 for radios and record-players, it is user friendly.  C'mon Zoom techs.  It's so simple! 

On my Lenovo E16 gen2 laptop, the Fn button on the keyboard does not mute the microphone in Zoom during a meeting.Previously, the Fn button to mute the microphone worked in Zoom, but after recent updates, this button no longer mute mic. The Mute button works properly in Teams, Messenger, Skype, etc. How do I fix this?

Hi, I'm new here, so this might be something that’s already been discussed—but I couldn’t find any useful tickets on it.When I pull QA reports from the web interface, I can see the upvote data. However, neither of the two API reports that include QA data seem to contain any upvote information.Is there another way to access the upvote data programmatically? Best regards,Mike

Hi There, I am working in a company which used Zoom corporate account with on-premise setup before.  For some reasons, our company changed this Zoom service as a self-serve service & let user to apply their own subscription themselves individually. Before corporate account service expired, we disabled those force sign-in options in security part.  We believed that such corporate account & associated domain will be disabled when service contract expired. However, we found those users who are using the associated domain email which will be still forced to join the corporate after service has been expired for few months.  On the other hands, the unlink associated account option is gone when service contract expired.  I have raised support ticket to Zoom CS by previous owner account but seems they are not so responsible for a basic user. As our users has subscribed the Zoom service th

I am at a point where I am desperate for help. I recently updated my mac to Sonoma and keep receiving the notice "unable to establish a secure connection to Zoom." I also cannot get the Zoom download or account page to load correctly on my computer but can't get it to work on my phone and iPad just fine (so I know it has to be an issue on my Mac). I have tried everything - clearing my cookies and cache, restarting, making sure Zoom is up to date, granting all the right permissions, and security settings and deleting the Zoom app and redownloading it after removing it from the trash. I tried to contact Zoom for help but have been told that my account (the free one) "doesn't qualify for use of the chatbox or support tickets". I am desperate for help here - can any tech wizes give me some suggestions I haven't thought of? 

I have a number of events set up in a membership site hosted on Heartbeat which integrates with Zoom. I've paid for a large zoom capacity of 500, assigned it to my Zoom licence and am still having my workshops capped at 100. Has anyone any ideas of what else I can try? I have two more events left and would love to fix this!

Hello,I am setting up a zoom room in a fairly large space. there are two conference tables (parallel to each other)  I was thinking instead of having 1 screen in the middle, to have two screens on the sides. My understanding is that zoom can be split screen but 1 screen will show speaker and the other the rest (other people on call, etc). Can i show the just the speaker or whatever the speaker is sharing on both screens at the same time? Like during a presentation?

I have a pro paid account . anyone know HOW I CAN CONTACT tech support .... ? I'm hoping they MIGHT be able to find 2 missing  cloud recordings for me (one from september 2024, the other months earlier) I had a few recordings saved to the zoom cloud. there were there, and I turned off the auto delete.... I did NOT reset the auto delete setting, but recently when i went in to get the recording - the setting was set to 90 days !!! I've no idea how this happened... the first recording from 2023 is still there, was not deleated (and I have a downloaded copy too)but two later recordings are NOT. (and I don't have ANY copy)the missing recordings .- one was recorded in september 2024, the other earlier. These are very important recordings , 2 special events , for a community non profit, to put their website. I tried emailing support - but that doesn't work

As a member of my library's programming team, we use Zoom for our online programs. In the last few weeks, patrons have reported issues joining some recurring Zoom meetings. These issues appear to be random and do not affect all who are invited to a meeting.  While some problems are likely due to a patron's setup (e.g., an outdated app), there is one oddity reported. In a couple of cases, patrons have reverted to an earlier email containing the same recurring meeting link and have joined the Zoom meeting. We had one case in which a patron joined via her phone, but could not join via her computer until multiple attempts were made on her computer.  We use Constant Contact to email links to our patrons, but I'm doubtful that CC is playing a role when many patrons can join our meetings. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any ideas how to solve it or anyone know if this a bug? Thanks for your time!

Good morning,I'm looking for historical data on recurring meetings, in particular how long the meeting lasted and if anyone other than the host attended. My Previous Meeting tab only shows previously scheduled meetings, not previous occurrences of a recurring meeting. Thanks! John

 There's some debate as to who's responsible for this fiasco. Zoom blames Apple, but an article I linked to below says that Zoom integrated the "feature." Regardless, I resent this defective "feature" being forced on people by default. Now, every week, I only see ONE of my parents on screen because of this monumentally inept design. It's not just that this feature is mind-bogglingly defective, but that it should never have been activated without user approval. Apple, like any developer, needs to think about users when making design decisions. If you roll out a "feature" and enable it by default, a large number of users will be stuck with it permanently. I am 2500 miles away from my parents, who use Zoom on an iPhone. They do not know what obscure control on that tiny screen will provide access to buried settings like this auto-zooming, and in the limited time we have for our conversations I don't want to spend half o

Is it possible to set the settings so that every time I share the screen the audio is shared automatically as well? I've tried to find it in settings but the only place I can see it is in the pop-up window right before sharing. And as a default, it's always ticked off. I find most meetings I attend there's always a couple of minutes wasted as neither I nor others can remember to tick that box in the heat of the moment and to share the sound. So when we want to present videos, we have to come out of the presentation to put it back on. Obviously, if I am presenting something on zoom, no other audio will be on so I really don't understand why the computer sound is not shared automatically. It would make everyone's life so much easier. 

Is there any way to declutter the Zoom-Client? We use the app daily and it is a great tool, but the absolute onslaught of new features and apps and integrations and notifications and new pop-ups in the "Zoom Workspace"-UI is such a downgrade in our user experience. We just want a first class conference tool. We don't need 1000 other features AND most of all we don't want to be bombarded with notifications and red numbers that need attention. If there was a possibility to hide all that, we will stay happy and loyal customers, but if we don't get the option to customize the Zoom UI to our needs, we will need to switch to a competitor. Hi there team,I would like to know if there is a way to hide the recording icon (🎬) under an event in the calendar inside the Zoom workspace app. I want to share the recording with a select few people who attended that specific video call, not all the attendees.My scenario is that everyone who attended with the same domain can see the recording by clicking the icon on their zoom workspace app; even if they do not have the sharing link, and we just want to share that recording to specific people.How can this be managed?We have a Workplace Pro account and we use Apple Laptops.Thanks in advance.

Moin, nach dem ich durch den Host in ein Meeting reingelassen werde(Meetings über 30-60 Teilnehmer,einige Minuten später wird das Bild eingefroren, mildig,und oben links wird angezeigt " Program reagiert nicht".Obwohl ich den Ton von anderen Teilnehmern noch höre, einige Minuten später stürtzt ab.Ich habe einen neuen Computer mit Prozessor I7 12700K, Grafikkarte Geforce RTX 3090TI und 64GB Arbeitspeicher.Computer macht gar keine Probleme, spiele verscheiedene Spiele mit Ultra Einstellungen alles läuft einwandfrei.Nur Zoom macht Probleme. Es muss laufen, weil ich mindestens 3 mal die Woche am Meetings teilnehme.Bei kleinen Meetings z.B. ich und Freund, funktioniert alles einwanfrei... Was könnte das Problem sein?Bitte Hilfe

Currently I am working on integrating zoom meeting sdk in react app. So that my react app can start the meeting id set via zoom app.I had used sdk key and secret from another new email subscribing Video SDK | Pay As You GoIntegration looks successful and the participant shown in waiting state until host start the meeting via app.But on starting the meeting i am getting following error.Error:Joining Meeting Timeout or Browser restriction To join a meeting hosted by an external Zoom account, your SDK app has to be published on Zoom Marketplace. You can refer to Section 6.1 of Zoom's API License Terms of Use

I just installed zoom on a new windows laptop. I now cannot see the shared screen from someone else. (I do know how to share screens. This is not the problem. I have been using Zoom since it started.) Any thoughts on what is wrong?

I think someone is on my account because I have another person using my account with a different name. HELP!  I have had this account for almost 5 years and I go to 2 meeting every day.  I'm overwhelmed by Zoom's technical terms.  I called up Zoom and Zoom instructs me to do 2 numbers from my account, and I did that.  They said they could NOT find my account!  Please, can someone help me?  I have the latest update for Zoom although I have an old MAC OS computor.

In recent versions of Zoom Workplace there is no title bar on the window and so there's noway at all for me to move the zoom window around the screen or otherwise adjust it. This is super frustrating. I am running Zoom on Linux Mint 21 under the MATE window manager.

Hi, I am having problems with Zoom on my new laptop which I have not had in years of using it before.  - Black/grey boxes visible on participants' screens over any box I have open (e.g. video gallery, which I need to have open!)I have followed all the steps recommended in the FAQs (Advanced video settings, etc.) and it is still a problem. - My internet connection keeps crashing during meetings - the internet connection is still strong on my laptop, but I get "internet unstable" messages and it crashes repeatedly.  My new laptop is a Lenovo if that makes any difference.  Thank you in advance for any help!

I have have a user who cannot sign in with SSO. They are not making any error. I looked at a log and see that the NameID does not populate. I'm not on the team that would be able to check that on the network end. What do I need to be looking for on her account? Universal Principal Name?

 I chose to have a "portrait" filter added to my camera view. It's like the blurred background but not as intense. I really liked it, but now I can't find it again! Did it move or go away?  Thanks!
