We are attempting to run a training course. We want to:Broadcast trainers (my) screen.We want to see the delegates screen (shared) in a quad view (4 attendees) as well as their faces/cameras to see what they are clicking on and how they are progressing. (Have figured out how to switch between screens being broadcast but want to put all monitors up on one large screen)How can we achieve this with Zoom?We purchased "rooms" as we thought it supported this functionality; did we buy the correct product?I have set up a "training" room and attempting to make it "online" but we are stuck "offline".If this is not the right product; please suggest the best way to achieve the above? Is it even possible iwth zoom? 

I used to be able to access ccp.zoom.us and come to the Community College of Philadelphia ZOOM page for which I am registered. Now it doesn't come up. Instead I am sent to the zoom.us page. I need to be on ccp.zoom.us to teach my 90-Minute long classes. When I am on as a BASIC member, I am limited to 40 Minutes. Why could I access ccp.zoom.us before But can Not now?

I would like to share sound of a language app or I-Tunes on my I-Phone. My students can not hear the sound from the I-Phone, but can hear the sound when playing a video that is shared from the Internet. I click on share screen and always enable share sound before I connect with Airplay, just as described in the tutorial.It worked in the past, but since the last four weeks or so it does work anymore.Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi. Today I was using Zoom for teaching and I tried to share 2 word documents containing pictures copied and pasted into the docs. When I shared them with my class the pictures vanished. Has anyone got any similar experiences or answers?

Hello we as a school facing issue, students share there links with outsider and they join the meeting using students name and cause nuisance in class.Please help with this, we only want our authorized users (students) join meeting.Earlier we use free version but now we upgrade it to Paid version but still same issue. Regards School Principal

Hi Zoom community, I'm at a small independent school in Sydney and due to a Covid-19 lockdown, we are delivering our program primarily via Zoom. Our teachers recently all applied for the Zoom Edu Lift on their basic accounts so that they could deliver their content uninterrupted to students. We're really appreciative of the lift on time limits, however, we don't seem to be having much luck with actually having the lift implemented. I applied two weeks ago and was advised by a very helpful Zoom staff member that the lift had been enacted on my account. However, my account still tells me that I have a 40 minute limit. I was under the impression that this advice would disappear when the lift had been implemented?  Our remaining staff members have been waiting for about a week. I know there are probably a lot of schools applying for this lift, so just also want to understand how long it might take for the lift to be put in place. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I work for a Pk-12 school system, and we are trying to see if we can use the host only view. I am not sure what it is called, but we heard about a feature where the host can see the other videos, but the participants cannot. If this is turned on at the admin level, do all teachers in my school need to do that? Or can they have the option to see the class the way they want?

The addition of the Zoom Event licensing has created problems when re-uploading a user CSV.  With over 280 sub-accounts in our environment this is going cause us a major issue as we need to update users before our contract renewal.  Before the issue started occurring an admin could export their users to a CSV, make the necessary changes, and then re-upload under the "update users" tab.  Thus importing the changes.  Now when we try to re-upload it errors out because it's missing the Zoom events field.  Even more frustrating is that the "download sample CSV link" is correct.  I opened a ticket on this, but the solve provided was really a workaround.  Export the users, and manually add the Zoom Events column.  Has anyone had this same issue?  If so do you have any other suggestions?  I'm going to have to explain this manual workaround to 280 admins, and I need to be able to communicate the process as clearly as possible.

Hello!Last school year, I had the option to cloud record.  This school year, the cloud record option is not available. I am only able to locally record. My IT department did not have a solution. My current License is Basic, but I don't remember what it was last year. Does anyone have advice? Thanks so much!

Hi - a friend of mine is looking for community/team building activity ideas for a virtual group of around 40 adults (para-to-teacher program) who haven't met each other. Does anyone have links to resources or has implemented activities that have worked well? (no separate downloads or external apps please). Activity shouldn't last more than 5-10 minutes.  

I work at a Community College in California. Several of our students rely on captioning. The pop-up preview of chats block the captioning. The only fix I have found is to move the captioning to a side panel with the "view full transcript". This makes watching the video less accessible. Does anyone know a way to turn off the chat preview?

I am a UK Driving Instructor, but I’ve traded in zooming around on the streets for Zooming through driving theory. The UK approach to theory is severely lacking, based on revision not learning. Leaving many of those with additional needs suffering unnecessarily. I am dedicated to teaching understanding and comprehension. Zoom allows me to work with people nationally. Using multi media teaching tools and interacting on a totally unique level. I’d love to hear how others are utilising the tool to support others, especially with additional needs (Autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, APD, ADHD…)

Hi folks, I am a Mathematics teacher and use Zoom as a medium to conduct my lessons. I have been a Zoom user for more than a year now. Over the last 3 months, I find that the faces of my students disappear instantly whenever I use my Huion tablet to teach and show solutions to the questions at hand.  I have used the Huion tablet all along but this problem only surfaced about 3 months ago. I have to tap the bar at the bottom of the screen to see the students' faces.  This happens whenever I use my tablet to teach.Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, have you found a way out of this predicament? By the way, I do not have another device to link up to the Zoom lesson.Looking forward to hearing from you.  Thanking you in advance for your support and help.  

As we prepare to wrap up the current school year across EMEA (some countries already have), we are hearing a variety of ideas for what the return to campus in August/September will look like.  Many institutions are preparing for a hybrid learning environment to allow students to participate either in-person or remotely.  What are your plans for a safe and effective return to campus?  Are you incorporating a hybrid approach or focusing on updating your real estate footprint to accommodate students in a socially-distanced manner?  We'd love to hear from you!

We have been virtually hosting a national cohort of grades 6-12 History-Social Science teachers working on a common body of lessons focused on historical sites around the U.S. that are related to "The Fight for Equal Rights". So our teachers are from local areas of each site, MLK National Park in Georgia, Women's Rights National Park in Upstate New York, Stonewall Inn Historic Site in Greenwich Village New York, Cesar Chavez National Park in Kern County CA, and Angel Island Immigration Station State Park in SF Bay CA.   Previously of course, we'd all travel to a central location to gather and conduct much of our lesson planning and coaching, we are now doing it remotely via Zoom meetings and some supporting digital curriculum tools. In the end, we've been able to continue to make the process of matching content and historical specialists, with digital learning design specialists alongside exceptional classroom teachers from across the U.S. the REAL FOCUS thanks to this technology.
