Need to use chat option using browser.

Hey guys, If I give the url of a website in the chat it does not open. It shows some kind of error. I have tried putting the url in chat multiple times but the same error occurs. What should I do??  Take a  look  

We want to be able to have automatic channel assignments using info from a user's SAML SSO sign in.I have created department Channels and am using SAML for assigning the user to that already.I recently found out that you can't have more than 1 SAML assignment.Meaning if you do a departmental SAML mapping to a Channel, you can't have a different row for their location and also map to a location-based Channel. I tried using Group memberships as well and it seems like there is a limitation with that logic too. So what do people do in this case?I want to have a user automatically get put in a departmental channel AND a location-based channel.

Hi. So, I was emailed a profile QR code for Zoom, but I can't quite seem to figure out how to scan it or put it in Zoom on my Laptop. My Zoom version is 1.8.0.2305 and my Laptop is a Lenovo Chromebook. I could really use some help here...

This is outside of the "Add to sticker" option when using Team Chat. Slack has an "Add Emoji" option in its interface, where we can take a small icon file and actually upload a new, custom emoji that becomes available for anyone in the org instance to use. This would be a great feature to add to Zoom. The "Add Emoji" function could be tenant specific, rather than global for all Zoom users, as there could be regulatory considerations in various countries regarding specific images. 

Hello,My company is trying to add my account to the company account, but when I click on "approve the request" button on the email, there is some kind of error message saying "The user XX already holds an active account. (1,009)" Do you know how I can be added to our corporate account? I currently only have the basic, free account. Thanks,Ulysses

While on Zoom call and then accessing Myinstants. app (makes sounds during call) the sound is terribly distorted.  Message says try closing apps, but no other ones open.   Thank you,

Has anyone else noticed that there is frequently (if not always) a badge icon on your Zoom iOS app indicating an unread chat message but when you go to read it, it is just a message you actually sent to someone else using the desktop app? This has been going on quite some time for me and has followed me to a new iPhone as well. So it is definitely not an issue with my specific app instance or even phone. Is this a known or common bug or is there something maybe going on with our account specifically? Apologies if this has been addressed before but I was not able to find anything similar when searching. Thanks.

Has anyone had issues in which chats will just randomly refuse to decrypt for certain users?  Most frequently it happens when someone views/sends a chat on one device and then attempts to view/send it on another device (eg the chat is opened on one's work laptop and that works, but then the user views it on their personal laptop and they can't view the chat).  But sometimes, it happens even when both users involved assure me they're only using one device.  And it seems to strike users at random.  Sometimes chats will fail to decrypt for one person and at no point does the "decryption key become available" no matter what they do--the chats simply fail to display for one person.  It even happens in group chats or channels where one person's messages will not decrypt for everyone else, yet everyone else's messages do.&nb

Even though I’ve created a new account, when I send out a meeting invite it shows up in the guest’sinbox as coming from my old last name/ email.  I’ve been in the Zoom profile and account informationto try to make an edit but there doesn’t seem to be any options there.

Zoom has always worked ok.. Now I can't launch it at all.  I just get a message after I "Login"  to check my network connections. but I'm connected and everything else works just fine.  

I have noticed that when I manually change my status to inactive and then back to active, that it then does not go back to changing my status to away when I am inactive after the allotted amount of time.  Nor does it change to show when I am in calendar items. Is there a way to do this once you have manually changed your status? 

About six months ago, I was able to copy and paste from my computer to Microsoft Files--I was able to open up the file that I wanted to copy and paste into the chat column, but recently I have not been able to copy and paste.  Can you please help me resolve this problem?   I need this matter resolved asap.  I noticed posted in 2017, a problem, but it doesn't mention if the matter was ever resolved. 

Dear all,beginning today in the morning the Zoom chat is not operational for our company.Message in Team chat: "No internet connection. Please check your network" -> Internet is working, that is not the problem;When viewing the certificate: "Error code 1: DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 certificate is not trusted."Mobile phone app in another network is also not working (the Zoom Chat)On zoom status page there is everything operational. But it looks as if the certificate issue is the problem.Anybody else faces this problem? Since today I have had a pop up window saying that it is not possible to stablish a safe connection with zoom . If I click on " open certificate " it appears the following" DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 "error code 1: xmpp.zoom.us. The Certificate from DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 is not safe"  I am scared. Tried different networks, different clients, no effect.Please help!

The company I work for has vulnerabilities from zoom and I try following the registry key but it doesn't show up in the registry and if I try and run a command line to delete it can't find it. Is there a solution?

Our company is considering turning on the Zoom Pronouns feature so our employees can add pronouns to their zoom meetings and zoom profiles.  Our company uses the zoom chat feature a lot as well, but it doesn't appear the zoom pronoun feature has the option of adding pronouns within the chat functionality.  We are currently using a custom workaround where you edit your zoom name and add the pronouns to the end of your name. If there is a way to add your pronouns to zoom chat, please let me know.

Hi All, Has anyone managed to integrate power automate and Zoom chat? What I wanted to do was add the option to output the contents of a power automate into a Zoom chat channel. So for example a new enquiry comes in via our new enquiries form(which uses Microsoft Forms), at the moment, Power automate will send that new enquiry and the captured form data to the relevant head of that department via email and place into a dashboard in SharePoint. It would be great if we could get it to output to a Zoom Chat channel in a similar way you can get it to output to a Microsoft Teams channel.

Hello,I recently logged back into Zoom to find my old messages with my girlfriend from 2021. During the COVID pandemic, we used to have meetings and chat on Zoom, exchanging voice messages and texts. Unfortunately, when I returned to Zoom, almost everything had disappeared except for one message. These memories are really important to me, so I'm asking if there's any way you can help recover the voice recordings and messages from 2021. My company is increasingly using Team Chat for communication after learning that images and documents in Discord servers have publicly-facing endpoints, which is a large security risk for us. I have seen references to tools allowing a migration of information from Slack to Zoom Teams Chat, and I'm hoping to find something similar for Discord -> Zoom Chat. Does anyone know of any tools to assist in that endeavor? Ideally we'd like to migrate all existing Discord content to Zoom Teams Chat. Thank you!

I want to know how we can utilise the chat feature through web broswer. I'm not talking about the chat feature while you are in the meeting. I'm talking about the standalone chat feature with which you can chat with any of your zoom contacts.Can anybody help me with this?

We have a weekly team meeting where my team of 8 join via our personal meeting room link. We are running into an issue where chat messages aren't being sent to the right person. For example: Ciara attempts to send a private chat message to me (Alisa) but it's delivered to Hattie. We've also had it where Hattie will try to send a message to Ciara, but it shows that Alisa sent the message instead of Hattie. I've been instructed to figure out how to fix this, but have no idea how to do so.  Our entire team has access to the Zoom account. Often, when they join the meeting, they have to change their display name from Alisa to their name. Could that be what's causing the issue? Is there a certain way they should join the meeting to prevent this from happening? Any advice is appreciated!
