Hello, everyone.  Thank you for your help with this.  Here is my issue.  Until a few months ago, I used to be able to do file sharing from a file that was saved on my laptop -- I could put it up on the chat window by clicking the YOUR COMPUTER option, find the file that was saved in my laptop and then upload it onto the Chat Window for everyone to access it and download it.  But I can't  seem to do that anymore.  Does anyone know what's going?  I have a MacBook Pro -- iOS Ventura (ie: above 13).   FYI:  Yes. I tried EVERYTHING in the FAQ's -- including (among many things) going to Account Settings... and enabling File Sharing.  However, it was ALREADY turned on.  Either way, I turned it off.. then turned it back on... nothing.  So, after that... I even logged on and off ZOOM to see if that reset it... nothing.  Changed nothing.  I eve

There is no chat option in the meetings of any other participants or co-hosts. I tried to change every setting I could find, but still: Chat messages that I send in meetings from my (pro) host-account do not show for other participants, and they simply don't have a chat button in their screen.What setting can I try, to use the chat option again? 

In my privat-Account I can´t send files, because the option in the menu is grey.It saiz, the option should be closed by the administrator. But there is no administrator except myself

I am searching for a way to have an announcement for users when they enter the meeting—something in the chat window.  I have a daily meeting at 9, and we put information in the chat, however, users who come in late will not see the announcement so we have to enter it twice or even move.  Can we leave a banner or a pinned chat at the top so that even latecomers will see the message?

Is there some way to pin a message in the chat so whenever someone joins late, they'll be able to see a pinned message in chat no matter how far up or down they scroll? If this isn't a feature, this really should have been implemented a while back. If it is an option, I am apparently oblivious to it. Any help would be appreciated! TIA!

Is there a way to download my team chat logs? I think someone might be trying to steal my identity and I need to save them as evidence. Is screenshotting all I can do? I'm a free user. Thanks!

Hey everyone,I've read in the documentary that there's an option to enable "read receipts for messages" in Team-Chat. But I can't find the option "Visibility" or anything else like this in the settings. Is this a PRO feature? Hello, We recently started using Zoom and was wondering if there was a way to change the settings for the Team Chat/Messaging. Users have reported that the chat does not automatically scroll down to the newest message sent.  Thanks, E

We have an EA who wants access to their Executives Zoom Chat to reply to messages etc. I gave them access to the meetings, I am having difficulty finding where I could do this for them in the Exec's user settings.  Help is greatly appreciated, thanks. 

HiI´ve seen two cases regarding the option to deactivate the autocorrection, but this is not available in the newest Zoom Client for me in Windows 10.Is there an other way to disable the autocorrect.The colleagues that are using MAC OS can open with right click in the textfield the options for the deactivation but once deactivated but this isent persistant. And is this really needed to dactivate in all of the chat windows??Any idea?Cheers!

The Zoom Chat window won't hold new comments at the bottom of the window, it scrolls up to about 3 older comments.The bug causes me to repeatedly select the Chat window and scroll down for each new comment at the bottom of the chat window, rather than automatically showing the most recent comment.

When utilizing the status feature in Zoom workplace, there is an option to set a custom timeframe for when you select the Do Not Disturb status. However, is there an option to set a custom timeframe for when you are utilizing the Out of Office status? So far, we have not seen a work around to this other than setting your status message to specify your return. It would be more convenient for our team to have the Out of Office status automatically expire upon their return.  version 6.2.6 

We've been using the channel features for a few years to communicate with our agents. Today, no one is seeing messages or replies posted in the channel by other members or admins. I updated Zoom to version 6.2.6 and asked agents to do the same but it didn't fix the issue. I've also checked the settings for the channel and nothing is out of place.Private chats are working, but using the private channel is critical for us.

Can you make a user in the same organization an external user. We have contractors who have been given company email address but we want external user rules to apply when they are in a channel.I am not sure if just adding via the add external contact path makes them an ‘external’ regardless of domain.If it's possible, please describe how to do it. I was chatting with an external contact but after a week later that's when I added that contact. It opened a new chat window after he accepted. Shouldn't it merge or continue with the original chat? Why can't I merge it? It's showing 2 same names in my Recents. One with his profile picture in it and one with no picture.  I want to keep the original chat but I also want to see his online status which I can't see in the original chat.   Is there a way to merge it in just one chat?      

is there a report or a way to see what channels/groups you are a member of? zoom version 6.2.6

I have been using Zoom since 2020 and its the best app that worked for me during my classes and meetups during that time, I used to store messages video clips and every small memories that I had in my personal space to save in zoom (our own chat space). After online classes and everything came to an end I had stopped using Zoom in 2022 and had never used it ever since, but did login to a mobile from a PC. Today I finally logged in to my laptop after 2 years of not using it, just to see all my messages and files that were sent to my personal chats not there, I have never faced this with zoom in all the 3 years of my usage. Was this something that happened after a new update or version release? Is there any way to get all those back?

I just started having an issue in Team Chat with my screenshots I take not showing a preview on my screen, and when someone sends me a screenshot, I get Unable to Preview. I can see the screenshots fine on the web app, and on my phone app, but I cannot see it on my desktop app. I have looked at every setting I can think of, but I can't figure this out. Anyone know how to fix this?   

please help me, i was going to check old conversations i had with my friends but messages older than a year have been deleted, even the ones i sent to myself (i used that chat to save things like images) how do i recover them? i tried pressing the "more info" but it just took me to the support page and i cant find a clear answer, i just want my old messages back i always re-read the messages i sent to my old friends because i kinda miss them but now there is nothing at all, im actually going to cry if i cant recover them why does that feature exist and why dont they tell us its there? i would have at least saved the chats but now they're empty

AI said to click on the profile picture, then client options.  It does not give me client options, though.

Hello Community! The Zoom Icon in my task-bar is no longer displaying the number of unread or new chats I have. It was a notification; a red icon with the number of chats hovering over the Zoom Icon. However now the Zoom Icon just blinks when I have unread or new chat messages and I don't always see it blinking.  1. Suggestions on how to get the number of unread or new chats notification back to hover over the Zoom Icon.2. Suggestions on other ways to get notified of the number of unread or new chats as they come in. Thank you,Kelly
