Hi there, My wife is always receiving this email message in her email account from my Zoom account via Fathom where I am never invited to any of her Zoom meetings: "(My name) is using Fathom to record Google Meet meetings and streamline the note-taking. Is it okay if (my name) records your meeting tomorrow?" How can I stop Fathom from sending these message my wife email address?

I have been testing out advanced features in our enterprise Zoom account to help streamline our work related to typing up and managing meeting notes. When the features work--they are great. But when they don't work for no understandable reason, it is a major disappointment requiring back up approaches (which minimizes the impact of using the features if they are intermittent in functionality). The specifics:1. Meeting transcripts. These are great when you remember to (a) turn it on at the beginning of a meeting, and (b) save the transcript immediately before exiting the meeting. I find it odd that Zoom can automatically start recordings and save recordings for you, but not automatically start or save transcripts. Why? I don't need to record with everyone on video and talking, etc. The transcription is much more helpful in capturing notes from a meeting, and when it works, it really reduces the time it takes us to distribute meeting notes. I used to love the meeting summaries.  As a paid member, I introduced multiple companies to and suggested zoom as our video conferencing app, almost entirely for the AI's video recordings and meeting summaries. What I loved about the summaries: 1. Easy to read and understand2. Easy to edit (by browser) and share (by email) Now they seem: 1. Incredibly difficult to edit (by browser) or share2. Difficult to understand  I'm a tech savvy guy.  Anyone on this forum is.  But what I liked about the old version was that it was easy for our non-tech savvy coworkers and clients to understand as well.  Now the editor has tons of links and icons, and the share button only sends viewers to a link so they can log in to zoom docs.  Once a client or coworker sees that they need to login, they balk and ask me to send them a .doc or pdf or email.  And then, good luck trying to figure out how to export the summary from zoom docs. I get it.

I had a meeting scheduled by the other person.  They agreed for me to take notes, I pushed the AI button which they approved however I did not record the meeting.   Were no notes recorded because I did not record the meeting?  If it was recorded, I can't seem to access the notes.   Thank you

we use outlook and i always on behalf of my boss to set up meeting, but my boss can't use AI companion if i don't join in the meeting. some meetings are confidencial that i won't take part in, my boss can't use Ai, it's very inconvient for us

As the account owner, I should be able to remove / minimize the rather blatant advertisement of AI Companion on the home screen. I do not use that that feature and certainly don't appreciate the "in your face" advertisement.

My team uses Zoom for as many meetings as possible, but as a consulting company we cannot always choose the meeting platform. We need the ability to add our AI Companion to meetings that we do not and cannot manage. A bot that we can add to MS Teams, GoTo and Google meetings, similar to the dedicated note taking AI apps like Fireflies, Read, and Otter, would save our team from turning to a competing solution for meeting summaries and action items.  If this is available, please let me know how I can enable the feature.Thank you.

It seems that from the proncuciation of this person's name and because their username combines their first and last name together, AI Companion has added a -le at the end of his name and uses she, her pronouns for him in the summary. Is there anyway to correct this in the meeting settings or to do a quick "find and replace" edit in Zoom docs?

Hi everyone, I help an advisor during meetings, and he uses Zoom AI Companion for every zoom meeting. Normally the summary is delivered to him, but the last couple of times Zoom AI has just not summarized anything at all from the meeting. Does anyone know what the problem might be here? Thanks,

Hi there,For the past few days, I’ve been receiving the following message in Slack every time I join a Zoom meeting via the Zoom Slack App:⸻“New! Zoom AI Meeting Summaries in SlackZoom AI Companion now sends post-meeting summaries directly to Slack! Get key insights, shared assets, and action items—all in one place. To view your summary, check the Zoom bot after your call. To disable AI Meeting Summaries, contact your admin to turn it off.We have gathered some assets from your meeting earlier.”⸻However, Zoom AI Companion is turned off at the account level in the Zoom admin portal, as we do not allow Zoom AI to access or process our data.When I run /zoom config in Slack, I don’t see any option to disable these summaries either.Do you know how to stop this message from appearing?Thanks in advance!

I've turned on all the settings, set for auto-on, but no matter what I do, for every single meeting, I get the reminder to turn on the AI Companion and have to click the button. I just want it on, no request. Is this possible?

As a long-time devotee of note-taking, I'm loving the AI Meeting Summaries feature, but the AI could be doing a much better job at writing. If it were a truly chat-based AI, I'd be able to simply tell it what to change, and hopefully it would learn from my preferences for future session – but I'm not seeing that capability. (Can Zoom confirm this?) Are there any hidden settings to tweak the AI's note-taking skills? A few pet peeves:Names are shown as last-name followed by a non-grammatical comma. Better guideline would be first+last name on first mention, first name only on subsequent mentions IF only one user has that first name – and lose the superfluous comma.Most calls include some pre-agenda social chatter that really doesn't need to be summarized for the record. Is the AI smart enough to understand what constitutes social chatter and stop summarizing it?Action Items are usually pretty good.The AI could learn from Strunk & White on crafting concise sentences. Hello Zoom Team,I would like to suggest a new feature to enhance meeting inclusivity and communication.Many users have names that are frequently mispronounced, which can create awkward or uncomfortable moments and hinder effective communication. To address this, when a user creates a Zoom account or manages their profile, they could type a phonetic breakdown of their name or upload a recording of how it is pronounced. Then, during meetings, participants could simply hover over a person’s name in the participant list or chat to see the phonetic spelling or hear the audio pronunciation. This feature would make it easy for everyone to learn and say names correctly without interrupting the meeting flow and would foster respectful communication, especially for users with unique or non-English names. Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe it would be a valuable addition to the Zoom AI Companion or Zoom Meetings product areas.

I love the companion feature and use it often with most of the meetings. Before the update, I was able to pause it during meetings when private or irrelevant information was being discussed and start it once we arrived at the intention for the call. Please bring that option back. It made such a difference to have the option to "filter" out the personal from the business. Thank you

I'm trying to help a user that has turned off otter AI in both zoom.us and otter.ai and she's still connected to it and it's still sending emails out.  Does anybody know of a setting I'm missing?

Hi all,I have 2 users in the same Zoom group reporting 2 different things then they turn on Zoom AI. User 1They turn on Zoom AI and everyone in the meeting is automatically muted and has their camera turned off until they agree to the recording via a prompt that shows on their screen. User 2Performs the same action and the meeting continues with no one being muted or having their camera turned off.I thought it was the setting under Recording notifications - Zoom clientsBut I change it to 'guest only' with the same result.  Anyone have an idea?
