Corrected on our devices by reverting to an old version

Because Zoon as a Microsoft program, Microsoft wants you to use Microsoft 11 only. I hate Microsoft 11 because they MAKE you sign in Microsoft every time. To me, I alone have the right to choose what Window i use. I like 10 NOT 11. This “c:\user\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\bin\viper.dll “is for 11 to run. That's why changing to previous version worked for some, did not foe me. So I’ll keep trying.

I found this to try next......    Microsoft pushes Windows 11 so heavily because it integrates deeply with Microsoft 365 and their cloud services. Also, Windows 10 reaches end-of-life on October 14, 2025, making updates essential for security. If you are getting unwanted upgrade or software prompts, you can disable them in your settings.

To stop those constant prompts and keep your setup as-is:

  • Block Office Prompts: Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find Microsoft 365, and click Uninstall. You can also disable Office background tasks in Task Manager to prevent background interruptions. [1]
  • Stop Windows Tips: Go to Settings > System > Notifications and toggle off Suggest ways to get the most out of Windows and Get tips and suggestions when using Windows
