Meetings

We use GHL as our backend. My boss sometimes gets caught up, and her meetings carry over, so they started this Zoom account for me. When I try to take her next scheduled meeting (if she is on one already), it gives me the option of joining the meeting, but it will kick her out of the meeting she is in. Why does it do that? Can you enter the meeting as an Admin (me) and take her other meetings without it booting her from the one shes in? It seems like my account is somehow connected to what she's doing. I figured she could control the meeting she's doing, then I would be able to take any overflow, but at this point right now, it just pops up telling me I'm in a meeting (which I'm not), and then if I hit  close meeting, it closes hers and puts me into the meeting. What are we doing wrong? is it a GHL problem?

Can you please advise?I have set the Facebook closed group when I  set the meeting. But when I enter the meeting and click going Facebook Live it does not give me the possibility to check Facebook closed group, but only Facebook page. But this is not working for me. Can you please advise what to do to start livestreaming in my Facebook closed group?

I have enabled automatic recordings on my account. However, whenever I start my meetings, they do not automatically record. I primarily use personal meetings instead of scheduled meetings.Could you please assist me with resolving this issue?Thank you for your help.

hello everyone! Can anyone help me solve the audio/video delay problem properly? I am using, as a setting, the original music (the one recommended for musicians) but still the video comes before the audio even if I do a one to one meeting. Teaching dance you understand that it is not acceptable that audio arrives later than video...I add an info that may be of some importance: I use a Mac Book AirThanks a lotDario

How do I obtain attendee's consent to record a meeting? If they refuse, can they attend, mic and camera off? 

Has anyone else experienced this? In a meeting with multiple virtual and in-room attendees and participants, and using the interpretation feature  (English to Spanish).  After a few hours of normal operation, the Main and interpretation audio channel suddenly swapped (so Spanish was hearing English and vice versa) No settings or configurations were changed, it just did it by itself. After about 10-15 minutes it swapped back to normal. This happened multiple times over a 2 day,  all day long meeting

We have a Basic Licence Pro Account at the moment but would like to be able to run concurrent meetings with different hosts.  What is the difference in purchasing additional licences for the Pro Account or upgrading to the Zoom one business licence - will this give me the capability I am wanting?

Hello! I always use Zoom on my computer, never on smartphones. Recently, while I was teaching, I started sharing screen. Immediately, my student, who was using a smartphone (an iPhone, I think), couldn't see himself anymore. He then asked me how he could see his self-view again while I was sharing my screen. Since I never use Zoom on my smartphone, I didn't know how to answer. Later, I tried to simulate the same issue using my smartphone and I also couldn't see myself while the host was sharing screen. So I came here just to confirm with more experienced users if it's really impossible to have self-view on smartphones while the host is sharing his/her screen.  Thank you all for your help! 

i have not changed anything not switched anything but now my zoom wi=ont let me go live on fb or youtube all i get when i try to is permissions error i have removed zoom and asked permissions again but to no avail please help 

I hosted a Zoom meeting and recorded to the cloud. A co-host recorded locally. I never got an email that my cloud recording was ready, and it never showed up in my Zoom recordings. Is it possible that the co-host's local recording somehow affected my cloud recording?

Hi, I'm the secretary of a non-profit and am hosting a board meeting at my home. Not all board members will be present so we created a Zoom meeting for those who can't make it. I use Fathom to transcribe the meetings. Our President hosts the meeting and sends out the invitations. When she logs in to begin the meeting, I've had a hard time logging in (separate account) to record the meeting. Is it because we're using multiple zoom accounts through the same wi-fi connection?

Hi,  I recorded two segments of a Zoom meeting today. I hit record. Hit stop, and then five minutes later hit record again.  In the Zoom cloud the second recording appears but the first recording does not.  Is there a way to retrieve the first recording?  Thanks!

In a weekly recurring meeting that I host, I can see our chat from previous meetings, but the other participants cannot. Is there something I can do so that they can also see the chat from previous meetings? Context - we write in the chat our commitment/task for the next week and it's handy if everyone can scroll back, not just me. 

hello,I can't find the recording of my yesterday meeting, can someone help with? where should I look into?

I recorded a meeting, but didn't convert it immediately. I stopped the conversion to do it later, but when I then tried to access the file in the zoom folder- it wasn't there. When I tried accessing the file through the zoom app and the browser, I can see that it had been recorded, but when I click 'open', it says that the file does not exist. It is very important for me to recover this file. Is there anything else I can do? 

Hello, I had a meeting scheduled yestarday. The settings were okay, made sure I had "automatically record meeting in the cloud" selected. After the meeting was over, I can not find the recording, but I found one file named 'my recordings-zoom' and nothing else.my question what might be the reason for this glitch.  If anyone can help me figure out the raeson, that would be really nice.

Hi folks- I'm wondering if anyone else is dealing with this. I've got all the settings for HD turned on, but I'm still getting video output at 640x360. I have tried:1. Recording only to the cloud2. Recording only to the computer3. Having myself and everyone else drop off, make the participant the host, and have them record to their machine. All of these have resulted in very low-quality video output. I used to record zoom meetings all the time and get decent video out of them. Did something change? Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get better quality? When I record only myself locally I get 1500x720 but as soon as I add another participant the quality plummets. Any ideas?Thanks in advance and best regards, -Ghawkins 

My work uses Teams more than Zoom, but occasionally will use Zoom with a client or an outside consultant etc. We also recently started using the Webinar function as of last month. Nearly every single person in my organisation is experiencing several issues with Zoom, regardless of the context. If it is someone outside of the organisation's meeting, myself as well as my colleagues are getting kicked out of the meetings/Zoom is crashing. Often several times within the 30-60 minute meeting. Sometimes the meeting will automatically restart, other times we will have to go back to the link. This also happened with the webinars which is very frustrating AND it does not save the recording from the time that the host gets kicked out. Advice? Help? Tips? Etc

How do I prevent an echo when I am presenting on Zoom Work Space.when participates are muted, no echo. When I unmute participants, and I speak, I get an 'echo"

Hi, I did a research interview today. Normally this works perfectly but today, the transcript function clearly is unhappy, to say the least:  7 hours later, it is still marked as "transcribing". This was only a 30 minutes recording, so not a "novel".I can work around that and put the recording through Otter separately but I'd like to know if anyone has any idea what might have happened. Issue Summary:Zoom screen sharing issue (FRUSTRATING): When OTHERS share their screen, about 70% of the time, I see a black screen, instead of the shared content. (Issue occurs about 50% of the time - seems to happen with some user's call more than others). Temporary workaround -I found an effective, but annoying workaround (since I often miss an important part of the meeting by having to leave and return):If I leave meeting and return (causing me to miss 1 minute or more of the meeting), then after returning to the SAME meeting, then the screen sharing loads: "UserXYZ has started screen sharing" message appears in the middle of the screen , after which the shared content loads. I have updated to the new Zoom Workplace version 6.0.0 (37205) on Windows 11. One of the new features listed in the release notes and this KB article is app Color Themes, but I am not able to find them.  I followed the instructions in the app to go to Settings>General. The KB article says in the General tab there should be a Theme section, with options for Classic, Bloom, Agave, and Rose. I am not seeing the Theme section or the theme options anywhere in the General tab. I made sure I'm using the Light appearance since it's noted themes are only supported in Light. Let me please try to explain what is the question about and than please let me know if you able to help out. I would like to make a Zoom session for group of 20 people. Half of the group (10 people) is advanced and in the other half are beginners (10 people). During the session I would like to make breakout rooms (two people per room) but I would like to match randomly one person who is advanced with one person who is a beginner. I know how to do it manually but my question is if you could advise me how to do it automatically? Let me also mention what is the reason behind that I am looking for the automatic match beginners with advanced rather that manual one. Hi,   Could someone kindly help me. I plan to create 2 breakout rooms with automatic assignment of participants, then bring everyone back to main room for a chat and again move them to new set of breakout rooms. I just need to ensure that each time there are different people in the rooms. I wanted to ask if when creating the breakout room second time, I just click on 'recreate' button and the system will create a new mix of people, or clicking recreate will create the rooms with the same people like the first time.  Thank you.
