Since my last update my personal Zoom screen has a vague background outside of my body parts.As a therapist who uses puppets and pointers that is quite uncomfortable.Zoom was uninstalled and reinstalled - no change.In comparison: when pictures/screenshots are made in Photobooth the image is clear.

How do I broadcast a video in a breakout room and return to main meeting session without that video being heard?

I can't hear whatever audio tab I have open when I join microphone in a meeting. When a meeting is open, the only way I can hear what's playing is if I leave computer audio.I'm a teacher. I need to hear the audio I play when I share screen, so that I can make pauses and comments whenever I play an audio

Hi, are the Zoom servers down or under maintenance or something? I've been trying to download the cloud recordings and get "download error" after 100MB or so of the file(s) get downloaded. Only the very small transcript/chat file(s) were downloaded. I logged in under a separate/incognito window and had the same error. If the servers are running okay (and I don't have internet issues on my side), how can I find someone with admin access to Zoom servers or the technical support (or SU) team to investigate and possibly send the files to me manually (via Wetransfer, say)? (My account doesn't allow me to contact support directly, so how to send a message to them to look into the matter and fix the problem, provide feedback about the server/cloud status or intervene manually.) Thanks.

Is the absolute path of Zoom.exe always installed in the following folder?C:\Users\xxx\AppData \Roaming\Zoom\bin If not, how to get absolute path of zoom.exe?  

When a licensed user schedules a meeting and adds me (also licensed user) as "Alternative host" (under the Advanced Options) I do not have access to the Record button in that meeting (its just not shown, as if Im a "normal" participant) only the user that scheduled said meeting has access to record the meeting (we record the meetings localy on the computer).This was changed somewhere around the last 24 h?! It worked fine yesterday...

I keep having the problem that participants end up in my personal meeting room despite an invitation with a generated meeting ID.What could be the reason for this?The meeting is created via calendly. However, everything is correct. However, I wonder why certain participants end up in my personal meeting room instead of the generated meeting room.Thanks for your help!

Hello,On Thursday, I have to hold a workshop via Zoom as a final exam in a training course. Last week I tested the technical setup and everything worked, today I wanted to do another test and suddenly the sound no longer does what it should. 😐 My setup:MacBook Pro (2019) with MacOS Sonomona 14.6.1.Zoom Workplace 6.1.11.AirPods Pro (3rd generation with noise-canceling)Rode NT-USB microphoneSpotify in the paid version In the workshop, I will first do a spoken intro and then lead exercises where music is playing. For this, in Zoom I set "Computer audio" > "Share" i(via "Share" > "Advanced"). During the test last week, the sound was then shared via the computer speakers and the participants could hear it just like I could.Today, the sound was suddenly shared on my AirPods. T

Is there a way to schedule a recurring meet anytime meeting in Zoom Workplace? I can't seem to find how to do this. When I schedule a recurring meeting, it makes me select a time.

Hi,  Please advise, I was part of a zoom meeting in which the host recorded. I have requested a copy of the recording but the host does not want to share the recording.How can I obtain the recording? Thank you

I am a Zoom user, planning to upgrade to premium next month so I can host a high school social club reunion. We are all in our mid-eighties and many will need help to upgrade their Zoom software.I have made the upgrade on my PC. I attach a HDMI cord from my PC to a TV in another room for an exercise glass. Previously, the PC automatically transferred the video and sound to the TV. Now only the video is seen and no sound comes through.I need help here. The big issue is for my club brothers. I need to send them step-by-step, detailed instructions (PC and MAC) to upgrade their software and test it. I will schedule a test before our scheduled meeting, which is on September 22nd.I’m hoping for a prompt reply. Thank you very much.ShelN

Hello group ... Has anyone discovered a way to reset the status indicator from "in a calendar event" to "available" when an appointment ends early. Sometimes, it can be reset manually, but it would be great if when a call ended it reset automatically. Let me know.

I want to password protect a meeting saved on the cloud and then share the meeting link and password in separate emails.  I figured out how to record, save and share the meeting with a password, but wither I choose to copy and past the link manually into an email or have the system send the recording directly to the recipient, the password is listed immediately below the link.  This makes no sense to me.  I want to share the password separately over the phone(verbally) or in a separate email.  Is this possible?

When in a zoom meeting I can share a screen but when I hit "stop share" zoom locks up and I  get either "wait for the program" or "close the program". Waiting does nothing...so i have to get shut down and reenter. I've played with advanced share settings and nothing seems to fix this problem. Help please...I'm running a three day event and have to share screens this week 😞

I have enabled the Waiting Room in Account Settings, and specified a particular Customized Waiting Room. In the Waiting Room Edit Options I also checked off, Allow participants in the waiting room to reply to host and co-hosts.I also had updated to the latest version of Zoom before making these settings.However, in a subsequent meeting, the Default Waiting Room displays, not the Customized Waiting Room. Furthermore, people in the Waiting Room can't reply to hosts/co-hosts.Any suggestions? Thanks

I recently updated by zoom because working live was phasing out. After the update my original zoom ID is not scheduling my meetings accordingly. It continues to populate a new ID and password. Even after I've taken all the steps in my profile and under meetings to select "use this meeting ID and password." I'm out of time and patience.  I've followed every prompt under link sent to me by zoom. Anyone relate or have any advice?  

When booking a meeting on someone else's behalf through our Google Calendar, we sometimes get an error saying that the Zoom meeting is waiting for the host. What is a solution? This doesn't always happen.

When hosting a recurring meeting, I open the meeting, participants try to join but "see Host has anothr meeting in progress." Why? This hasn't happened before during the whole year I have hosted this recurring meeting. 

Good morning. Sometimes, when I send Gmails, Chinese characters or symbols appear in the From field to recipients. It seems to happen mostly when I send Zoom invites in IOS. I just tested it and it doesn't appear to happen when I use the web version of Zoom. When my clients see the characters, they do not open the emails or they delete them. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and have a great rest of your day.

When I send out recordings, them recipients can't open them. I have send the link with password - it never gives them an opportunity to put in a pass word. I have also tried to send it by entering their emails but it does show as sent in my emails. How to I get recordings and/or transcripts to people that they can open?? 

I have all my users set to automatically record meetings to the cloud. All settings are identical across users, but two users' meetings are not being recorded. Has anyone else run into this? What troubleshooting steps can I take? 

I created zoom meeting. There is a security saction where you have to choose al least 1 of 3 options and the default one (that I always choose) is "anyone with the meeting password or the link can join the meeting".However sometimes it asks the attendees the put the password in order to join and I don't understand why. I tought maybe it becasue I myself didn't join the meeting yet but that should not be the problem since I made a colleague a host as well when I created the meeting and yet Zoom required a password of him as well.Does that mean the creator of the meeting always need to attend even when other users are the hosts?
