Meetings

When I get the invitation, I see the url and the passcode.  I can even 'join' the meeting.  But since I don't know the time and date, I cannot connect with my client.  I can connect with other single users via the workplace.  Not with the client invitation.

I need to record a meeting with a student where an attached HUE camera will simultaneously show what the student is writing on the table.  This needs to be in a split screen.  How do I do this? 

I've been using Zoom for a long time with the same setup and suddenly I'm encountering problems.  1. If I play a sound file on my computer, nobody can hear it. It's as if the sound is completely turned off from the file and not routed to the speakers or the Zoom meeting.2. I embedded a video in powerpoint. I played the video and made sure that "share audio" in Zoom was checked. That allowed the audience to hear the audio in the video playing in the slide but I could not hear it as the presenter and host. I'm at a loss to explain how or why this is occurring and hopefully someone has seen and remedied this issue and can share the solution. 

On the meeting page it used to provide the information of how many meetings were in a particular series and how many remained ("2 of 10", for example). This was extremely useful for knowing when the series of meetings were coming to an end, and being able to continue them easily without changing the ID number (especially useful when using Zoom for online teaching, for example). This information appears to have now disappeared. Is this true for everyone?

After upgrading to MacOS Sonoma 14.7 I have noticed the following:1. Connect to Headphones via a hardwired cable, or by Bluetooth, it doesn't matter.2. Join a Zoom meeting, the audio from the other attendees can be heard on headphones.3. Unmute and say something.4. Audio no longer comes through headphones connected via Bluetooth or via cable.5. Have to switch to speaker audio to hear anything.Using the MacOS System Wide default speaker did not fix this.Explicitly setting to use headphones in Zoom Audio Settings did not fix this.This is a severe blocker as you now have to take Zoom meetings in a closed room environment as you have to use the MacBook's Speakers. You cannot take meetings in a shared space like a Coffee Shop or Wework etc...

Hi. - I am a Mac user. I sometimes need to share the desktop because I need two windows opened, a PDF + video, for example. The sharing screen window shows all the apps but does not show the desktop thumbnail option. I have the same problem when I connect the iPhone via USB. It just doesn't show this option to share. I started to have this problem only after the last update, 5.7.6. Can anybody help me, please.

I am able to open a hyper link on zoom from  a shared powerpoint slide but nobody on the zoom meeting can see the web sites when i open it.

Once I schedule a meeting on someone's behalf, I cannot change the meeting.  I cannot see it in my meetings list. The meeting appears in their meetings list (with them as Host) but I cannot see it anywhere.  I would like to be able to make changes to the meeting.We are not sharing calendars (O365, etc) because the privilege seems to grant FULL access to the others' calendar.  Maybe there is a way to share only Zoom Meetings schedules with others?But I thought I should still be able to see those meetings in the Zoom web page.  I'm looking under "Personal > Meetings".  Maybe I should be looking in another place?My Zoom App is Windows 6.0.11.

Hi, we have set up a regular meeting with registration and now have 95 registered.  Does Zoom allow more people to register than the 100 maximum?   Our experience is that only about half of the registrants actually attend, so how many REGISTER is not a concern of ours.  But is it of Zoom's?  Can more register than the event maximum?

When I try to share the PowerPoint as a background, I get the error message: 'PowerPoint encountered a problem and can't work.' Any ideas on how to fix this?

Having terrible issues playing video clips in a meeting from a powerpoint - this is a recent occurrence (today!) have never had an issue before with the same clips - loud hissing noise which is only cleared by turning the mic on and off - cannot play the clip all the way through without the issue happening

Can you change the colors that poll results are displayed?  I'm using a matching poll and two of the first three colors are so similar that they are hard to tell apart.  

Someone on my team renamed the meeting to Monthly Hybrid Grief Group. Now every meeting is the Monthly Hybrid Grief Group. We have several different support group meetings. I have go to the top left corner where the meeting name is listed, clicked the pencil icon to edit the meeting, have entered the correct meeting. It stays like that for a moment, then reverts back to Monthly Hybrid Grief Group. People are leaving our meetings because they think they are in the wrong meeting.

We're doing some remote contact center training, and when some of our new agents are screensharing all computer audio shares except for the audio of the caller. It's not an issue for the trainers (when they share their screen, everything works including the caller's side). Everyone's logged into a Zoom account, we've tried reinstalling Zoom (windows desktop app, we all have the most recent version), selecting both mono and stereo when screensharing, and using a different headset just in case it was interfering. Any other suggestions on how to fix this? If it helps, we use 8x8 for our phone system. For the contact center we have to use a client in-browser as well as their work app.

What is the maximum number of different language interpreters allowed in a Zoom meeting.  When I did a search, I found, 'This allows the host to designate up to 20 participants as interpreters on the web portal or during a Zoom session'. However, when I tried to add all of mine, it is capping out well below that.  I have 12 languages to be added.

So we’ve been having this issue in the sales team, whereby when we have a meeting booked with a prospect/client and I need to change ownership of the zoom to hand it over to a different colleague for example, what happens is that the zoom link gets deleted from the google calendar invitation. This means: 1) The zoom details get deleted from the Google Calendar invitation, so the client cannot see where to join the call.2) Because Zoom deletes the conferencing details, it makes the meeting link invalid. So then the client/guest clicks on the original invitation link and its invalid and the host can no longer host the zoom call.Why is this an issue?This means that every time we hand over a zoom meeting to a different colleague, they have to manually add a new zoom conferencing detail. I previously had a Zoom paid account. I no longer have a Zoom paid account. However, I keep getting emails on repeat that tell me I'm near the max size capacity for "cloud recordings." I don't want these recordings, but since my account is now a free account I don't have access to recordings in my dashboard. And I also no longer have access to chat support because I'm on a free account. And I can't find another way to contact support to get them to delete these recordings so I stop getting these emails. Please help.

The old one Zoom 5.17.2 used to let you set up yearly meetings, but since updating to the new 6.1.0.0 it semms not to let you do this anymore. Unless this is a permissions thing, as the user is a Member and not Admin. For example I've been trying to set up an annual review meeting on a particular date and it just won't set up.Other dates I've managed to book meetings but not this one.Very frustrating.
