Scheduling a Meeting With Contacts Saved In The Program

I saved about a dozen contacts in the program. According to everything I have seen when I want to schedule a meeting I can start typing the first 3 or more letters in the name/email of the contact in the attendees field and a list should pop up of names that match. Is there an option I need to turn on to make that happen?

Contacts you specify in the program will not be auto-populated when you schedule a meeting and start typing the name or email of a given contact. There are any number of scheduling apps that can do this for you. One option is Salepager, a Zoom app that lets you schedule Zoom meetings where your previous contacts auto-populate when you start typing contact emails when you invite people to your Zoom meetings.

Thank you for your reply. Makes me wonder why I would waste my time entering contacts if I have to get another app to make it work.

Hello @HymanZ,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

Adding external contacts allows you to chat, share images and files, and start meetings instantly. When scheduling meetings with colleagues within your organization, their names will auto-populate after typing just a few letters. For external contacts, you can use the Zoom for Google extension to schedule Zoom meetings directly from your Google Calendar. This extension also auto-populates names and lets you create groups, streamlining future invitations and making the scheduling process faster and more efficient.

Please let us know if you have further concerns.
