I am having trouble making sure my display name does not change. Yesterday was the second time I have used Zoom on my personal laptop for an interview and both times, somehow when I enter the meeting my display name comes up as something completely offensive. This is the second job that Zoom has affected negatively in the last couple of months. I have changed my password multiple times and am just not sure what else to do. It will be hard to secure any type of employment if this is not permanently resolved as all of my future interviews will most likely be virtual. This has been extremely upsetting. I do  not even know where to look because on my end all I see is my name or the word "Zoom" as my name since I had to make sure it wasn't something offensive last time. I reached out to support when it happened then as well and they said to change my password and log all the way out and it would resolve itself. Well, now I know that was incorrect. If you have

We had a 3-day conference and recorded all the meetings. However, when I open the video or the audio the first minute is at normal speed but then suddenly the speed increases, and this 4-5 hour meeting only takes 1.5 hours. This happens on all the 3 separate recordings. The audio is horrible with all kinds of noise over the voice (there is no problem with the microphone, the first-minute audio is fine). Even when I use software to slow down the speed, the noise makes it almost inaudible. Is anyone familiar with this problem and is there a way to still fix it?  Thanks a lot!

One of my users is the host of a zoom meeting today at 1 PM. Unfortunately, he's sick. We have a second user lined up to be the meeting host but the first user never designated anyone to have scheduling privileges or made anyone a co-host or alternate host. When I go into the admin panel for our account I appear to be able to designate other people to have scheduling privileges for me, but no ability to set this on any other user. I can't see anyone else's scheduled meetings, either. How do I go about adding a co-host, or changing the host, as the account owner without making someone who's out on a sick day log back on to change his own settings?

Every time I try to join a meeting, even one of my own,  I get this screen:I click on "Launch Meeting", and nothing happens except that I get "Having issues with Zoom, join from your browser"Then I click on "Download Now", it downloads, I click on the exe file, finally I can join.Every time.  Every dang time.

there is now a menu Transcription in meeting optionsIn certain meetings, as an host, I would like to unable the "Transcription" option for non host or co-host participants.Is it possible ? Thank you for your help

At my organization, we use Google Calendar to schedule meetings. Google has a "speedy meetings" setting, to change 30-minute meetings to be only 25 minutes, and hour-long meetings to only 50 minutes (to give you breaks between meetings). Is there a way to do this in Zoom? When scheduling a meeting in Zoom.us, our only options are 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hr. Thanks!

I am VERY frustrated. I have been using my Logitech C920 with my Macbook Air for a long time. No issues. For the past month or so, my image keeps flickering. The image does not go black. Rather, parts of the image move and then move back (if that makes sense). At first, I assumed it was the Mac OS upgrade to Sonoma. However, the issue ONLY happens in Zoom!  I have the most current version of Zoom installed (6.0.2). I have spoken to Logitech and they have no solution, as the camera is fine with LogiTune. Is there a solution to this?!  I managed to capture a screenshot of it glitching and then back to normal.

I join a meeting on my MacBook, then zoom becomes unresponsive. I cannot click on anything (Unmute button/camera/chat/minimise screen etc) However, I can see everyone, and hear everything but I cannot do anything from my end. I have looked through the settings, restarted my computer a number of times, updated what needed to be updated. Still, the problem persists. Can anyone help?

I've been using Zoom almost weekly for at least 6 months and have had no trouble getting in the meeting.  I pay for the meeting then I get another email to Register my name etc.  Usually after I registered I receive an email that has the link to join the meeting.  The last two weeks I register, the email disappears and I never receive the email to join.  Very frustrating since I pay for these and they are non refundable.  Nothing has changed, same computer and email. Help!

Using the Linux client when I remote control do remote control (support) I'm able to control the other user's computer via my mouse and keyboard, but certain keys fail.  For example, I can type a certain letter like "a", but I won't be able to type "b", but I could type "B".  When I use capslock, all of the letter seem to work (in uppercase). Lowercase is hit and miss. Symbols generally don't work. 

I get error 1132 when I log in to Zoom, this only happens on my computer because I can use the platform without any problem on my cell phone. I have already reported the problem to Zoom but have not received a response. Any help is welcome! Thank you very much.

Hi, I noticed that when I try to save my recording automatically to a Google Drive folder, it will give me a "Files from unknown sources. Converting the following files may put your device and personal data at risk" error. It converts fine every time I click "Convert Anyway" but this error pops up every single time I have Google Drive open on my Mac. Can someone help me troubleshoot?

I have a Pro-level account and host a weekly meeting. In a few days, I will be unable to be present to start and end the meeting. I have read the online documentation about assigning a co-host but find it confusing. Is there a way for me to assign someone in the meeting the credentials to start and end the meeting, and also turn on screen sharing?

Hello, I have my record setting to save only the screen sharing with active mic and i see the reecording the webcam/videocamera i overlapping the shared content. It never did that before.Is there a definition that i should put?  I put here a example 

A simple question, but apparently a difficult answer is hard to find. My network of business associates often share propriotary information that they would prefer were discussed in what is usually understood as private between the invited parties. However, many of them have said, if they new the discussion was being cited in a written form of recording, they would be concerned with being misunderstood at times.  I have said I will stop the recording of select conversations, but for the life of me, I cannot find an on-off switch here on Zoom. Is there such a thing and if so, how do I find it. Help>support>AI>prayer>=nothing works... H E LLL P PleaseTom

In two recent meetings, one I hosted, the other I did not, part way through, the volume suddenly dropped and I could barely hear the other participants. This has never happened before. The volume started fine in both. On both, I was on my iPhone as usual.

When I upgraded to Workplace Pro last September, I was able to modify the default invitation text. Now, I can't seem to find where to do that. Has this option been taken away? 

I recently purchased a Zoom account and just discovered I have not yet been using this account because my Google Calendar is still linked to my bosses Zoom account despite having being removed from it. Any meetings I have been creating are still through their account which means I am paying for nothing because I am not able to unlink my bosses zoom account from my Google Calendar. I get as far as Zoom in Google Workspace and then there is NO option to "uninstall" Zoom as it is greyed out and unable to be clicked. I have searched many places for answers and have no solutions. This appears to be a serious issue. 

Good day! I am running zoom (zoom-5.10.0.2450_openSUSE-1.x86_64) on Linux (openSUSE 15.4). Is it possible to change the hotkeys - either disabling them or move to a different hotkey? Goal is to keep CTRL+SHIFT+R for Thunderbird as reply all hotkey instead of zooms 'begin remote control' Best regards,Kai Dupke

EDIT: This is for Zoom Workplace Version: 6.3.10 (49367) - Apologies if this is in the wrong subject I'm having a problem with a MacBook Pro running Monterey OS (12.5).  When I join a meeting via the Calendar link, it opens the link in Safari and the video preview is disabled with the message when hovering mouse on video icon "Host requires participants to join with video turned off."  However, when I join the SAME meeting using the "Join a Meeting" on the Zoom App by entering the Meeting ID and Meeting Passcode, the video preview works!  The host says that she has the video option for both host and participants set to "ON". Here's another interesting thing: I thought maybe it was Safari.  I found that there was an update and applied the update, restarted the MacBook Pro and tried the Calendar link.  Preview worked!  But when I tried it the second time, it stopped working and only displays the disabled video icon wi
