Hey all,I’m working on a prototype app where HeyGen will talk to people to collect some data.Here’s the problem:• I’m the host of a Zoom meeting, but I’m scheduling it for another user (a guest)• I send the meeting link to HeyGen so the bot can join using this same account that booked the meeting• When the HeyGen avatar enters the meeting, Zoom shows a pop-up that the host needs to approve• But the host (me) is not in the meeting, so no one approves the pop-up• Because of this, HeyGen can’t hear the guestI’ve tried setting up the meeting in different ways, but I can’t find a solution.Is there any Zoom setting that can fix this?

Zoom on Linux (Ubuntu)Version 6.1.0.198 So, the new version (see above) finally brought the new look that was announced earlier with version 6.0.0 (4563). Yes, it looks more modern. 👍 ButIt removes window decorations like the title bar and the borders. As someone who uses the title bar to see whether a window is "sticky" in a multi-desktop setup (sticky means, it moves around with me while I change desktop), this makes the Zoom app less efficient. In just one day, I had already so many occasions on which I left behind a Zoom window (keep in mind that the stickiness changes whenever someone stops sharing a screen) that I got very disappointed with the change. I looked around in the settings to find something that would bring the window decorations back, but wasn't successful. Does anyone have any pointers how to get window decorations back? hello...My local area of NA has a zoom account, as it was important to continue meetings (albeit virtual) during covid.  I am the zoom coordinator (if you will) for said area; and one of the meetings I scheduled for one of our groups is not appearing under the  MEETINGS column...in both the desktop & web zoom client.The common solution found on the internet doesn't work (as there are no calendars synced w/ this zoom client/account).  If someone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.  Without being able to see ALL scheduled meetings, I am flying blind in scheduling additional meetings; & in providing help to our area members when they have questions about meeting overlaps, etc. thanx, mark4man

Hello, I have been using Zoom for training sessions every week for the past five years. During breaks, I currently move each participant to the waiting room manually, which is very time-consuming. Could a feature be added in Zoom to allow all meeting participants except hosts be moved into the waiting room in one button, similar to the "admit all" function from the waiting room into the meeting?

My scheduled zoom meetings are not being received by invited participants. When I type their email in, there is a red dot next to it?

Hello there! For some reason whenever I tried to turn on my camera or add a virtual background, Zoom suddenly crashes or goes on not responding since yesterday. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the app but to no avail. This usually happens whenever I get Windows update. This is getting really frustrating since apparently, my subscription doesn't include Live Agent support. I am a recruiter and I have a lot of upcoming scheduled interviews so I really need your help please ASAP! Add tags

Dear all, I am testing out zoom and me and my colleagues would like to use each other quizzes. We have a fixed set of multiple quizzes that everyone should be able to add when a meeting is created. Can you please advise if this is possible? Apart from creating it separately 6 times (we are a team of 6) over in every account which is very error prone and costs a lot of maintenance.

I've been using Zoom for years and this hasn''t happened before.  After finishing my recording, I got this message:"Failed to Convert RecordingThere is not enough space on the disk (which is weird since I had just deleted several prior recordings).You need to make more space available on your disk by deleting files, then convert your recording by double-clicking the following files in the destination." So I went ahead and deleted far more recordings then the one I had today (about 35 minutes), emptied the trash and the tried to double click on the two that said to "double click to convert..." So, the file enlarges for a second and then nothing happens. I have a Mac Pro if that's helpful. Thank you so much! It was an important recording and I don't want to lose it.   

Previously virtual background works well in my HP i7 11th Gen Laptop, but after giving the new update it's not working. Blur freezes my video and the virtual background black the screen.

I have users who are experiencing instability of ZOOM Workplace since updating to 6.4. Some are experiencing chat will not send and will cause workplace to close and relaunch. Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution. 

I have been leading a consistent Zoom meeting every morning. Done it for 5 years now. I'm wanting to know if all the people who have ever come to the meeting after they register their email is there a setting that Zoom has all we can send them an email on a regular basis. Like the automated system does for webinars. I get emails for webinars on the consistent basis. And I'm wondering if we can send out the same kind of consistent notifications to remember this meeting that we do everyday. Any help is appreciated

Hello,We are using Zoom On-Prem. There is a Meeting Connector in two locations.Only one data center is visible in the meetings and no traffic or meetings occur on the server in the second data center.Is this normal? If there are settings, I couldn't find them in the menu. Can you share a document about this?Can we distribute the load balance while working with backups?Thank you.Salih Can.

Hi all, good day. I have an iPad Pro 2021. Its front-facing camera is on a short edge (ie top edge in portrait mode), making it impossible to attend Zoom calls without being tilted 90 degrees from the others on the call. This is a known problem, which most tablets have now solved by placing their front-facing cameras on a long edge (ie top edge in landscape mode). My question is whether an external USB-C webcam like the Logitech Brio—which says certified for Zoom—can solve this problem so I don’t have to buy another tablet just for Zoom. In the past, users were able to solve the problem for other video calling apps, but never for Zoom. Anyone trying this in 2025? Thanks!

Hi, We are trying to disable live captioning for a particular meeting. We would like to disable the feature and disallow any participant from requesting live captioning. How do we go about doing this? The host is able to turn off the captioning and disallow requests once the meeting starts. But this affects the ongoing meeting only and participants are again able to request captioning in the next meeting. We would like to permanently disable and disallow live captioning requests for all subsequent meetings. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Its happened three times already that when I add or delete someone from an event, it replaces my event text. I get the message "The event description will be replaced with the Zoom default invitation." This has been really frustrating as a I have to quickly edit it back to what I originally wrote and it resends to everyone.  I've been making the changes through outlook/the zoom plugin. Anyone have any solutions? Can't seem to find any.

 Could you add a chapter function next to the record button during live recording during a zoom meeting please ?That could be interesting during a Zoom meeting to mark and split key moments. 

I try to remove virtual background from zoom meeting.  From more and choose none but its not working 

When I receive a Zoom link with Meeting ID and Password, is there a way to add it to the Zoom app ahead of time? I don't see any way to do this. I only know how to join the meeting or schedule my own meeting but can't see a way of adding a meeting that someone created to my upcoming schedule. I'd like to be able to join the meeting directly from the Zoom app without having to look for the link or meeting ID and password. If I join in advance, it doesn't get added to upcoming meetings when I leave.
