I would like to know how I can have the names of the participants in a text at the end of my lesson.

At our university some of our students/teachers have this request: the possibility to show their camera/video to the teacher only, and not see (or be seen by ) the other students. The teacher can see everyone, each student can only see the teacher. Is there any way to make this possible. This has been put foreward as a solution that might help against all those black screens.  

How do you use foreign language characters on the whiteboard?  When I share with my pupils I need them to be able to see the proper spelling but can't type in Spanish or French. 

Hi there, we have to integrate zoom API or SDK into our custom LMS, it's in the initial stages, we require logging in to Zoom API programmatically. How can we achieve this behavior? Our LMS is VB.NET-based. Is there any possibility to integrate Zoom SDK into our LMS?

I need to record a timed Zoom session in order to secure a virtual teaching position. One of the requirements of the session is to use the annotate function. I cannot figure out how to turn that on. I have read the directions on the Zoon sight as well as some Googled instructions. They were the same and they don't work-- they are wrong. For starters after logging in, the directions are to go to Account Management and then Account Settings but Account Settings isn't under Management. If I play around with it, I can find "Settings" without "management", but then it's impossible to find the 3rd direction which is to Click the Meeting Tab. These directions just don't go anywhere. Help!

We are a school and i want to develop some system where the teachers and students receive the link i created to enter a zoom room so they cant have contact outside zoom (right now the teacher must send the link directly to the student).Is there any way to do that? And also every teacher needs a zoom account?

I've had a number of reports of network issues lately, all on our campus system.  We've determined that Wi-Fi6 capable devices have significant driver issues that cause inconsistent network connectivity and a poor Zoom experience.  Has anyone had the same experience?  Any thoughts on a solution?

I teach a remote class from home to incarcerated people in a classroom.   They have a mic in front of the class. but I have a hard time hearing the ones in the back.  On two different occasions, the sound has gotten dramatically better after about 45 minutes - and I can hear fine.  Is this magic?  (no one has done anything to the sound.)  Can someone shed light?

As an educator, we use Zoom for our virtual classes with the Basic Plan. We've heard rumors that the Basic Plan will not longer be supporting unlimited time in 2022. Can you please confirm or deny this rumor? I'm hoping it is denied.

We've been recording our classes held over zoom, but since there is about fifteen minutes of filler time before each class begins, I've been editing them down on Vimeo. However, some of our students are hard of hearing, so I've been trying to add captions. The issue is when I use a Zoom caption file with an edited down video on Vimeo, the captions won't sync, rendering them pretty much useless. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get captions to sync on an easy-to-use platform, I would greatly appreciate it! 

I am employed as a supplemental instruction leader at a university. I want to use the Kahoot! app through zoom to make my sessions more accessible to students who only have one device to connect with me.  Right now, my administration has to approve any app downloads. My university has asked me to figure out how much it will cost them to allow me and other employees to use the zoom app- does anyone know where I can find that information?

Hello, I have a question to which I'd appreciate someone's responding. I teach a business course to college students, and I wanted to show an excerpt from the video "House of Games," which is on Amazon. When I tried to show the video, the sound came through but the screen didn't. However, when I've shown YouTube material it came through. Has Amazon put a block on rebroadcasting Prime video via Zoom?  If so, is there a way to get them to take it off? Thanks for any info, mlangbert@hvc.rr.com. Mitchell Langbert

I've been teaching on Zoom and making use of the removal of the 40-minute time limit which they enacted during lockdown. All of a sudden, my lessons are being cut at 40 minutes. I haven't changed anything. I'm still using an academic email for log-in.Has Zoom decided to put the limit back on everyone? I can't find anything online that suggests they've changed it.TIA

So when I am viewing a class on zoom and a teacher switches from camera mode to screen share mode and vice versa, if my laptop is flipped into touch screen mode it will bring me to the start menu. Every time I have to manually switch it back which can be annoying and I don't know if this is to do with my laptop or zoom but I would appreciate it if anyone knows a way to stop this from happening. 

I have a personal zoom account and one linked to my university. The university one has some of premium features I think but I'm not entirely sure since I cannot access it anymore. I had a group presentation that required recording. I was using zoom to record my segment.I think I got banned due to repeatedly starting meeting and ending them to convert batches of recordings in my attempts to get a decent recording for my project. At some point 2 or 3 hours ago, I could no longer log into my university zoom account. The theory that I got banned due to too many recordings being considered an abuse of the system was brought up by my siblings.  Please, I need to know how to fix this. I need that account for university-restricted classes.  

My son is attending classes through Zoom. From past may days he is not able to attend the classes as Zoom logs him out the moment he joins the class. Whether the email id through which we are signing into Zoom needs to registered by Admin of the School on Zoom portal. Pls help.

Hi, We are trying to make the starting of meeting in our Zoom Rooms as simple as possible for our instructors. They schedule their class Zoom sessions in their Canvas courses using the Zoom LTI tool. When they teach in a room equipped with Zoom Room hardware they have to recall the meeting ID and passcode of their scheduled Zoom meeting in order to get the Zoom Room to join that meeting. Not a huge deal but it does mean it's "one more thing" they have to do before the class starts. Has anyone thought about or worked on this issue? Ideally the Canvas Zoom tool would feed the Meeting List of the appropriate Zoom Room so that the instructor can just "single click" on their meeting on the Zoom Room console. Thanks!David
