Teachers in my Colorado Springs school district cannot use Zoom because its privacy compliance agree is not consistent with our district policy.What exactly does zoom state in the agreement that causes schools such issues?

I registered with my University email to teach courses; the account is only allowing 40 minutes, however, my classes are 2 hours and 15 minutes. Any suggestions of correcting this?

I accidentally signed up for Educator's account using my school Gmail. Now, I cannot sign in without inputting organization info. Please help.

I teach and ESL course to adults with Saddleback College.  I teach on Zoom on my Mac. I am constantly losing view of my Zoom participants and Zoom tool bar, usually this happens when I stop sharing a screen.  I still hear the audio in my meeting, but I do not see the participants and tool bar.  Then I must go to my Zoom camera icon, right click, and click "Show in Finder"  so that they reappear.  This is a constant problem - for some reason it didn't happen in my Monday meeting, but then continued on Tues, Wed., and today Thursday, 9/1. I appreciate any help! 

Hi! I accidentally clicked educator account while trying to sign in with my gmail. Zoom now prompts me to fill up information making me unable to sign in. Is there any way to disable this so I can just have a regular Zoom account again? I am currently using a different email to post this.I saw another post about this and they had a ticket number set up for support to contact them. Thank you for your assistance and hope this problem could be resolved soon.

Currently we are able to see students using their camera and/or mic in their breakout rooms. The other day I notice that camera was off and their mics were off yet they were able to complete the work assigned. When I asked them about it they said that they were sharing their ideas via chat. So my question is, is there a way to see when students are chatting in their breakout rooms similar to the camera and mic? Maybe an ABC symbol will pop up while they are typing similar to the screen that pops up when they share a screen. Anyone know if this is possible? Any ideas would be helpful. 

Hello THank you for your service. I'm a teacher of South Korea. My account was originally educator account so I got free upgrade and could have a class more than 40 min. But Yesterday when I tried  online class, I and my students shut off after 40 min.  I tried to find out solution so checked up educator section but it didn't work.  I have to have online classes for a week due to Covid quarantine. Please help me. Thank you.

Hi, I was accidentally clicked the educator account when i was doing the sign-up process. I didn't actually intend to have that and wanted to stick with a personal account. But I couldn't go back and restart the whole process. Now I can't log into my account. It was stuck in the education account activation page (attached the screenshot below). I seem to have no way to access my account.  Now I have to use another email address to log in for help. And I have to host a meeting next week using that account. Please help me out ASAP. Thank you so much!

Hi!   Sommaire en Français : Nous voulons les transcriptions automatisées en Français pour des raisons d'accessibilité.   Are there any plans for the automated live transcriptions (or even for recordings) to be available in other languages than English? The Otter.ai integration works really well when the spoken language is English, but we can't use it in our French language University. Accessibility is a major concern for us.    Also, not to put any pressure on, but MS Teams is about to release live transcription in French soon, so it makes it hard for us to recommend Zoom over MS Teams to our 50K+ user base.

Hello! I am currently using my other account now because I mistakenly clicked the educator account. So I cannot activate my account and join in meetings now. The email that I used there is my student email and I can't log in. We also have an online orientation in Friday.Please help me.Thank you.

I'm setting up an Elmo OX-1 Document Camera & EIT-Elmo Interactive Toolbox  environment for virtual or online Zoom Tutoring.  I wanted to avoid "reinventing the wheel" if an Educator within the community has already done this. *  Pro/Con#1... I found was that ZOOM doesn't mention ELMO  products in it's Knowledgebase...???  Within the ED Profession, ELMO was one of the first companies to introduce document projectors and digital (USB) versions like the OX-1.  Given this, I'm assuming no one in the Community has been a Pioneer with this (look for the arrows in the back). *  Pro/Con#2... I explored MS-Teams for this application, but found that the OX-1 projects the image "up-side-down" on my PC and seems to project OK to the Beta-Tester.  This is very annoying... try visualizing your whiteboard presentation as it is being mirrored up-side-down. *  Pro/Con#3... Zoom-&-Elmo has a simple solution for this (unclick mirroring) >>

Migration from Chrome OS App to Zoom PWA required -We previously communicated that Google planned to end support for Chrome OS Apps in June 2022. While Google has extended this timeline, we will continue to prepare for this change by ending support for our Chrome OS App in August. It will no longer be searchable in the Chrome Web Store store after Nov. 5, 2022. We are asking all customers to switch to the Zoom progressive web application (PWA) before Aug. 1. Administrators can migrate all users with an account-level switch by clicking into account management, then account settings, and enabling the “Auto-launch PWA when joining a meeting on Chrome OS.”

Hello, I'm trying to find the correct settings to utilize Zoom as our virtual Writing Center. We have one tutor designated as a "greeter" each day log into the Zoom account, create the breakout rooms for all tutors on shift for the day, and make all incoming tutors co-hosts.  The issue we are running into is when a tutor tries logging into the account from a new device or location, they are required to verify themselves by checking the email address associated to the account. The central email account for the Writing Center is a gmail, which unfortunately has it's own 2-factor authentication that kicks a verification code to my own personal email. What this means is that any time a tutor is required to verify themselves to open the center, they need to contact me so I can check my email and give them a verification code to gain access to the gmail, so they can get another code to gain access to the Zoom account. Hi! I was looking to sign in to Zoom, but clicked the educator account at the bottom out of curiosity. I am now unable to sign in without being prompted to enter educator settings. Is there any way to disable this so I can just have a regular Zoom account again? I am a therapist and i send out a meeting invite to a couple - to each of their email adresses. When they come onto zoom i only see one of them at a time (when they are speaking). I need to see them both  at the same time - which is gallery view i believe. I do not see the option for gallery view.... I tried swiping to the left when i had one participant on as directed by a blog - that didn't seem to work. Any ideas?

I put students in breakout rooms as a host and one student said they could hear and see me in the main room.  I'm not sure how to rectify.   

Is there a stamp that only the host can use? I'd like to have a host-only stamp, or I'd like to restrict students' access to the Check and Star stamps. I tutor young kids on Zoom. I share my screen, and both I and my students use annotation tools extensively during tutoring. I use the Stamp tool to quickly show when the student answers an item correctly. I use Check and Star to show correct answers. I don't want the students to be able to use the Check and Star stamps, OR I'd like to have a special stamp that the students can't access. I've checked the Zoom Apps and community posts, and haven't been able to find a host-only or teacher-only stamp. Any ideas?

An instructor shared a link to a zoom class recording via Canvas, but when I follow the link I get the message: You cannot view this recording.No permission. It doesn't even offer a place to input the passcode she provided. Any ideas?

Hello!   When I was making a Zoom account, I accidentally pressed the Educator Account option, and now I cannot log into Zoom with that account. I am currently using a different email address to post this. Is there a chance that I can change my account to non-Educator Account?    Thank you!
