“Can everyone please mute?” Have you heard or spoken these words during a company all-hands or virtual event? Or struggled to switch presenters and screen-sharing access during a meeting? Or scrambled to get everyone the same virtual background for consistent messaging? Hosting a virtual event, large-scale presentation, or company-wide all-hands requires more control and polish than your standard Zoom meeting. That’s why we have Zoom Webinars and Zoom Events. One of the most significant advantages is controlling the narrative and maintaining engagement. Webinars are typically structured presentations with a designated speaker or panel leading the discussion — audience members get to listen without appearing on camera. This format helps minimize the risk of distractions and tangential conversations, allowing participants to stay focused on the key points being presented. Integrating features such as screen sharing, slidesho
Yesterday my camera would not work through ManyCam. A black screen appeared where my picture should have been displayed. I'm a basic user, using Zoom for teaching students around the world. I create my lessons in ManyCam and need to be able to use this as my camera source. I switch to my LG camera and everything is fine. Anyone else having trouble with third party cameras?? My student could hear me, but no luck with the camera. I'm using an LG Gram laptop and open Zoom through Chrome. Any suggestions or update on changes would be great. Thanks!
The presence of artificial intelligence in healthcare is growing. However, deploying AI in the healthcare sector requires careful consideration, as this evolving technology comes with accuracy, reliability, and privacy concerns — among others — and directly influences patients’ experiences.
Hey all, I received an email saying that Zoom "over the next few months we will be migrating our email addresses from @608130.us to @608130.com." It is requesting that I make sure @608130.com emails are approved on my teams email lists. It just seems like a strange email because I am the only one on my team who received it and it isn't signed off. I can't seem to find any other information regarding this and am trying to make sure it is legitimate. Any thoughts or information is appreciated! Thanks!

This week I had an extremely interesting strategic conversation with an Association Management firm that stood out to me. Apart from their own account, they are also managing 34 individual Zoom accounts. With this work setup, their team heavily relies on the Zoom Team Chat. Zoom Team Chat allows both free and paid users to streamline communications between team members and external Zoom users with instant messaging integrated to the Zoom platform. For them, this is a one-stop shop because it helps them keep their distributed teams informed and company culture alive. During the session, some of the benefits mentioned were: it’s easy to manage and deploy, improved time-to-employee effectiveness which empowers their staff and offers advanced features and functionality that save time and enhance collaboration. Also, some of the key features that they’re fond of are the Meet with Video, Zoom Phone Call (for their ad hoc meetings) and Schedule Meeting buttons. Since the
Just in case you've been out of the loop the past few months, Zoom IQ is now "Zoom AI Companion".I've been in a few conversations with customers recently asking about it. I wanted to share the common objections I usually get. Note that the following inquiries may or may not be in verbatim. 😁 So Is Zoom AI Companion Skynet in disguise? Nope. it's a generative AI digital assistant that helps users and their teams do more. Zoom AI Companion is designed to seamlessly integrate with your Zoom experience, offering a range of capabilities that can help you work smarter, not harder. (Props to you if you got the reference 😎) So it has a new name. Big whoop. It must have the same features as the old Zoom IQ.Not exactly. Here's a list of what it CAN do:Meeting summaries: Zoom AI Companion can generate summaries of your Zoom meetings, even if you didn't record them. This can help you save time and stay on top of what was discussed.Chat threa
I am a volunteer English tutor working with adult learners over Zoom. Today, when I was screen-sharing a Word document, the document/program suddenly started jumping around -- with rapid, jerky up-and-down movement, as well as side-to-side movement in the ribbon/tabs area at the top. I had lost control of the document and could no longer continue reading it with my learner. Can anyone explain why that happened, and how to prevent it from happening in the future?

Picture this: I was in a recent client meeting and we're in the midst of a lively discussion, and one of the admins, eyes brimming with curiosity, raises a question about Meeting Summary notifications. They admitted they missed the boat on Zoomtopia 2023, which happened in early October. With a cheerful smile, I leaped into action and decided to show them the ropes. I swiftly demoed some past meeting summaries, revealing the magic of AI technology at play. I explained that this feature taps into the brilliance of AI, even involving third-party models, to let meeting hosts initiate an AI-generated meeting summary. The best part? It's sent out automatically after the meeting wraps up, right to their in-app chat and email. It's like a wizard at work, weaving meeting summaries effortlessly! To make their day even brighter, I shared a nifty link where they could dive into all the details about using Meeting Summary and how Zoom's AI Companion takes care of their data. You shou
Even with the rise of AI, some users still prefer to manually create notes. The problem though is that users leverage a separate note-taking tool (or a 3rd party Zoom app) to summarize and track action items from their meetings, causing loss of focus and time to grant everyone access and to collaborate asynchronously. With this in mind, Zoom has enriched the platform with collaborative document functionality in the form of Zoom Notes. Zoom Notes provides a clean user experience that allows users to create agendas and notes while staying within the Zoom platform instead of jumping to other content management tools. This allows users to create and share content within a Zoom Meeting and collaborate with others on the call for real-time inputs thus eliminating the distraction of switching between Zoom and third-party documents and apps. Users can even continue to work in Notes outside of meetings asynchronously and share them for collaboration anytime, anywhere.

when setting up Zoom meetings I now have to enter all the emails in the invitation bar by hand and not by copy and caste as I used to. Can someone give me guidance on how to avoid having to follow this laborious process?
Accessibility is at the heart of what we do at Zoom, and we’re always looking for ways to make our products more inclusive. To make your Zoom experience more equitable, we are excited to announce that automated captions will be enabled ‘on’ for all Zoom accounts in the coming weeks. Automated captions help make Meetings and Webinars more inclusive for multilingual speakers, participants with hearing impairments, and others by providing real-time transcriptions of meeting and webinar conversations and content. Once automated captions have been turned on for your account, your meeting participants can start captions in your meetings. Account admins and owners have the ability to customize the availability of automated captions at the account, group, and user levels. Visit the Zoom support site for detailed instructions on enabling and managing automated captions. For additional questions, please read our accessibility FAQs. Make sure that you are on the global minimum

The recently concluded Zoom AI Companion Webinar, led by Randy Maestre, Zoom’s Head of AI, Developer Ecosystem & Industry Marketing, and Enrique Plaza Garcia, Zoom’s Product Marketing Manager, provided a profound dive into Zoom’s AI capabilities. What sets Zoom apart is its unparalleled AI versatility, surpassing the constraints of single-model AI solutions. The discussion revolved around how Zoom serves as a catalyst for seamless connection and collaboration, converging both employee and customer experiences within an intelligent, all-encompassing platform that garners genuine user affection. Randy spotlighted a staggering statistic – approximately 60% of a person’s workday is consumed by administrative tasks rather than value-added work, a significant productivity drain. In today’s hybrid work landscape, teams grapple with disengagement, underscoring the pressing need for heightened connectivity, a sense of belonging, and an enabling company culture, identified as prime drivers f
I have just completed a Zoom meeting, the number of participants shown in the report page in Zoom is 90, however, after I have exported the attendance report, the file only contained 10 participants. What can I do? Can zoom help us export? I feel helpless because I cannot find any technical support from Zoom to answer my question over the phone.
Hi, I conduct lessons on zoom and I post the lessons' recordings online. Zoom sent me a note saying that I don't have anymore room on cloud to save other recordings. If I delete the recordings on cloud I wont' be able to show the lessons on the website. What can I do? Thank you, Beatrice.
