I have a MacBook Pro (2020, running macOS 13.5.2) I have used a Mevo Plus (purchased in 2020) as a webcam for my MacBook on a few occasions with no issues, including with OBS for YouTube live streaming, and with Zoom. I last used the Mevo Plus on this MacBook on September 24th for a Zoom meeting and it worked great. I tried to do the same thing on October 8th, setting it all up the same way I had before. My MacBook connected to the Mevo Plus without any problem, but this time I could not get it to appear in the menu of camera options on Zoom (version 5.16.2). Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?

I love some of the new add-ons to the desktop client, but there are a few that I would like to get rid of. It is looking too cluttered. Is there a way to remove some of these icons that I don't use, like Team Chat, from the header?  

We are facing from some weeks a change in adding new members in channel. Now, when I add a new member in channel, although I am able to add everybody, a request is sent to the new member and he/she could not read and be part of the channel unitl when he/she doesn't accept the invitation. Before this change, when I added somebody, he/she was immediately in the chat without any acceptance. Is it possible to avoid this kind of authorization, by changing any settings in the channel? I've tried to do it, but I cannot find any setting to skip this "invitation to be parte of the chat".

Hi all,We have a strange issue.We use Zoom client for team chats.All users in organization are behind proxy server and we have special rules for Zoom so that the proxy doesn't do SSL termination.The issue is with images and screenshots in team chats - everything works fine for most users but for some, they can't send pictures and they get the gray exclamation mark and errors when sending or receiving pitcures. We noticed that for users with errors, when sending/receiving pictures only, the client go through the corporate firewall (and gets blocked) and for users who have no issue, all traffic go through proxy without problem. Anyone had such an issue?

I'm using Zoom API in my website to create zoom meeting for doctors and patients. I want that I can predefine the list of email of users. Link only creates when the users try to generate link with the same emails added in that list. 

I was reviewing the chat thread of my weekly study group, and I hovered over some reactions to see who left them. In most cases the app displayed the name of one of our regular group members, but there were 5 reactions that showed a raw user ID (a bunch of random characters followed by at xmpp.zoom.us) instead of a name.  For context, I'll tell you that the meeting requires a password and users must be logged in. I don't think anyone posted the meeting ID publicly. This suggests that either 1) there's a bug in the app that sometimes prevents it from retrieving the user's display name, or 2) someone programmatically tried random meeting IDs & passwords until they guessed ours, which allowed them to leave reactions in our team chat. If #2 is correct, then they might keep logging in to it until they discover the meeting in progress, and zoom bomb us.  Which suggests that we should change the meeting ID or expect bombers. Has anyone else run into these unexplai

I am experiencing an issue where I cannot view images or photos that I send to my friend, and they are also unable to view the images or photos they send to me in our chat. I've attempted to resolve this problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as updating it to the latest version, but the issue persists.

Is there a way to disable or hide message previews for chat notifications in the iPhone app? I don't want to see the content of the message in the push notification on the lock screen.

I am using Linux Version 5.13.11.  When I receive a text message via the Team Chat, I never receive an audible alert. I have to look over at the Zoom app regularly in order to see if I have received a message and this is not practical. Previous articles about this subject (posted over a year ago) say to check options that no longer exist in the app. How can we make this happen in the latest versions of Linux? Thank you!

Has any one here has had issues with adding participants to channels? This worked before, we have tested everything but it keeps saying participant needs to accept request, but even when they do it doesn't add them on??I came across an online forum of people experiencing the same issue this week. It has interrupted our business by restricting communication among employees. So no meetings, nothing for the few days. We might have to move from Zoom to something else if this does not get fixed!

Please tell me how to expand all replies in a given chat with a particular team member. I am looking to write the contents of an ongoing-chat with my project leader (since July 2021). I can do that with the save Single File (*.mhtml), but I understand that doing so without having manually expanded the numerous collapsed replies will not record/save the important replies and follow-through dialogue(s) related to particular conversations. It will be tedious to scroll through the two-plus years of daily conversations to find and expand these collapsed replies in order to expand them PRIOR to saving the lengthy dialogue, but it will be necessary to do so. Can I create a keyboard shortcut to accomplish: comprehensively expanding ALL of the collapsed replies within a chat? Jon Bixby ***********

Hi 2 x zoom Pro licenses purchased by our finance team. but due to illness they where not activated. more than 30 days have passed, How do I get another activation link sent?

Zoom should also have a expense split feature since team parties are so common in corporate. It's an easy enough to implement feature, just like splitwise for corporate.

Our district has been using zoom since the pandemic.  Students have signed up with their 'school' email address - and all teachers and staff have a licensed version.  Unfortunately students are now using the zoom chat feature inappropriately and without having to disable or remove zoom from their ipads is there any thing I can do to stop this, or to disable chat?

I can't add contacts to the channel. He always writes to me on hold. Others can't connect to my channel.It always says that the channel is not visible.

 I can't create a chat group, people added to the group need to be confirmed, but they don't receive any notifications

I am looking if there is a log of files sent during team chats. Including, channel, group and 1-1.If I know "joe-user" sent/received a file, I can dig and find it under User Activity Reports, Chat History, then search on all of Joe-user chats and review each one.I am looking for a way that file transfer is a flag or trigger in a chat report. Thanks

Hello! I'm trying to figure out a way to send alerts to a channel via API. I was able to authenticate to the API using credentials from a Server-Server OAuth app however I'm now reading that only user accounts can send messages (using /im/me/chat/messages/Send IM messages ) and I can't grant this app access to send messages. Is there any other way to automate sending messages to a channel or person? I've read some about chatbots but I'm also not trying to sign up for a bunch of third party stuff and worry about confidentiality.  Thanks!

Whenever i try to send a .exe file in zoom chat  it shows a error your account admin has placed restriction on sending certain file types

Can we hide the "Get Started" sections? It makes us complete them for the notification to go away For example, I can't even complete the "Join a Channel" one because my org doesn't have channels

We are looking at implementing Zoom Team Chat.  With our current IM solution, at times I need to go in and run reports to produce conversation history between 2 people.  Sometimes for managers.  Sometimes for litigation.  I am noticing with Zoom the person that posted the comment has the option to delete that comment and then it doesn't show up in the chat history report.  I found a setting under Account Settings, Team Chat:Store edited and deleted message revisionsWhen I enable that, now I see the deleted posts on a 1:1 chat, but a channel still disappears into the ether if I delete a comment.  I'm not opposed to allowing people to edit / delete.  I'm just concerned there's no archive or reporting tracking what's happened.  Is there some trick or setting that would keep deleted channel comments in a report?  The notes under that setting seem to imply it would keep channel deletes too.  Maybe it's supposed to work.
