Team Chat

There is one person with whom email is correct, yet she never receives my contact requests and I never receive hers.   We don't understand why,  but I'm sure there's a legit reason.I unblocked her but still we are not able to chat.. kindly help

We have external (to our organization) members (i.e., Consultants) that have been invited to be in a number of our Chat channels.  Once that member (consultant) is gone, is there an easy way to see all the Channels that the consultant is in, and then mass remove the Member?  Or perhaps it is not done through Chat desktop, but in the web portal?  

i don't find a way to resize the letters in the chat window to be smaller. the help menu says to go to the Accessibility tab in the profile, but I neither found it. 

We used to use Pingdom with Slack and it worked great. After migrating to Zoom Team Chat, we notice there is not Pingdom integration and the Zoom web hook integration is not compatible with Pingdom either. Would be nice to see more integrations for Team Chat... But particularly it'd be nice to see Pingdom and Team Chat work together. 

Zoom can't update itself. I used to have zoom on my pc an older version. Now i'm trying to log in and it refuses to update to the current version. I also downloaded zoom cleaner exe but it did not help either

My company uses Zoom Team Chat as a means of instant messaging. Can my boss see messages to another colleague that I sent to that colleague privately over Zoom Team Chat?

I thought before in older builds of Zoom, when you were mentioned in team chat (@username) I thought there was an option to make your screen flash or there were more noticeable notifications. I have low vision and sometimes I miss notifications to the dire of my coworkers. 

The company that I work for just made the migration from Slack to Zoom Team Chat. One thing that everyone is curious about (because they have OCD) is if the list of channels can be alphabetized to make it easier to locate projects/channels. 

Hi,   I have just created all my contact on a CSV file uploaded them to personal contacts. Now I am using a samsung tablet and can't call them even if they are on line.When I click on a contact the video call, voice call & chat are all grayed out... Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

I keep trying to make custom emoji reactions for messages but it’s not letting me, it keeps saying that I “no longer have permission”. I tried looking at the website but I couldn’t find the account settings under account management (which is where the website told me to go). Where am I supposed to find the account setting so that I can make custom emojis??

This week in class, for the first time ever, I was unable to send the Zoom invite from within the session to a guest presenter's email. Is there something I need to reset? Or, was thsi a glitch in teh system this past Tueday PM?

I have two team chat channels, generated by different individual, with slightly different user memberships with a strong overlap. I would like to merge the content of these channels - preserving all content - into one combined channel with the content interleaved in time sequence and the user list to be updated to the union of the lists that were on each.    I have not found a way to do this in practice, or on the net, or on these boards.   Is this possible in the context of the existing platform,  and if yes, what are the detailed steps? Any advice is greatly appreciated.  The channel feature is awesome but I need to prune down the proliferation of non-unique channels.  

I am only receiving team chat messages via sms on my android. They are no longer appearing in the team chat tab.

I would like to add a hyperlink to my email signature that when click on would open up a Zoom Team Chat with me. this was easy to do in other systems <a href="sips:<email_address>">Chat with me</a> But I haven't figured out how to do in in Zoom. Any suggestions?

where can i find my chats on pc??

I'm trying to cancel a meeting series and Zoom doesn't recognize me as the host.  Keep getting "Error 3003".

Me and my friends use Team Chat in Zoom to talk. Zoom added this new feature late last year where messages that are a year old or older get deleted. This issue has been bugging me for awhile now and still no solution. I contacted the team and everything but they didn't do much help. Please reply if you know how to solve this problem!

Hi, I have recently upgraded to Zoom pro one so I could hold meetings longer than 40mins. My first payment has been taken out of my account yet today I was timed out after 40 minutes and asked to upgrade? I've checked and I am on the Zoom pro so don't know what to do or who to contact about this. Please can someone help?

It all started with the group chat not working at all(couldn't see new messages and couldn't send messages) when last week it worked perfectly. I've tried a lot of stuff and nothing has worked and there is no-one on the internet with the same problem from what I've searched.

I am an admin of a channel that I created.  We've had some changes in our department.  Is there a way to delete members from an existing channel?  I can add, but I don't see any info from help about deleting members.
