Zoom has always worked ok.. Now I can't launch it at all.  I just get a message after I "Login"  to check my network connections. but I'm connected and everything else works just fine.  

I have noticed that when I manually change my status to inactive and then back to active, that it then does not go back to changing my status to away when I am inactive after the allotted amount of time.  Nor does it change to show when I am in calendar items. Is there a way to do this once you have manually changed your status? 

About six months ago, I was able to copy and paste from my computer to Microsoft Files--I was able to open up the file that I wanted to copy and paste into the chat column, but recently I have not been able to copy and paste.  Can you please help me resolve this problem?   I need this matter resolved asap.  I noticed posted in 2017, a problem, but it doesn't mention if the matter was ever resolved. 

Dear all,beginning today in the morning the Zoom chat is not operational for our company.Message in Team chat: "No internet connection. Please check your network" -> Internet is working, that is not the problem;When viewing the certificate: "Error code 1: DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 certificate is not trusted."Mobile phone app in another network is also not working (the Zoom Chat)On zoom status page there is everything operational. But it looks as if the certificate issue is the problem.Anybody else faces this problem? Since today I have had a pop up window saying that it is not possible to stablish a safe connection with zoom . If I click on " open certificate " it appears the following" DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 "error code 1: xmpp.zoom.us. The Certificate from DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 is not safe"  I am scared. Tried different networks, different clients, no effect.Please help!

The company I work for has vulnerabilities from zoom and I try following the registry key but it doesn't show up in the registry and if I try and run a command line to delete it can't find it. Is there a solution?

Our company is considering turning on the Zoom Pronouns feature so our employees can add pronouns to their zoom meetings and zoom profiles.  Our company uses the zoom chat feature a lot as well, but it doesn't appear the zoom pronoun feature has the option of adding pronouns within the chat functionality.  We are currently using a custom workaround where you edit your zoom name and add the pronouns to the end of your name. If there is a way to add your pronouns to zoom chat, please let me know.

Hi All, Has anyone managed to integrate power automate and Zoom chat? What I wanted to do was add the option to output the contents of a power automate into a Zoom chat channel. So for example a new enquiry comes in via our new enquiries form(which uses Microsoft Forms), at the moment, Power automate will send that new enquiry and the captured form data to the relevant head of that department via email and place into a dashboard in SharePoint. It would be great if we could get it to output to a Zoom Chat channel in a similar way you can get it to output to a Microsoft Teams channel.

Hello,I recently logged back into Zoom to find my old messages with my girlfriend from 2021. During the COVID pandemic, we used to have meetings and chat on Zoom, exchanging voice messages and texts. Unfortunately, when I returned to Zoom, almost everything had disappeared except for one message. These memories are really important to me, so I'm asking if there's any way you can help recover the voice recordings and messages from 2021. My company is increasingly using Team Chat for communication after learning that images and documents in Discord servers have publicly-facing endpoints, which is a large security risk for us. I have seen references to tools allowing a migration of information from Slack to Zoom Teams Chat, and I'm hoping to find something similar for Discord -> Zoom Chat. Does anyone know of any tools to assist in that endeavor? Ideally we'd like to migrate all existing Discord content to Zoom Teams Chat. Thank you!

I want to know how we can utilise the chat feature through web broswer. I'm not talking about the chat feature while you are in the meeting. I'm talking about the standalone chat feature with which you can chat with any of your zoom contacts.Can anybody help me with this?

We have a weekly team meeting where my team of 8 join via our personal meeting room link. We are running into an issue where chat messages aren't being sent to the right person. For example: Ciara attempts to send a private chat message to me (Alisa) but it's delivered to Hattie. We've also had it where Hattie will try to send a message to Ciara, but it shows that Alisa sent the message instead of Hattie. I've been instructed to figure out how to fix this, but have no idea how to do so.  Our entire team has access to the Zoom account. Often, when they join the meeting, they have to change their display name from Alisa to their name. Could that be what's causing the issue? Is there a certain way they should join the meeting to prevent this from happening? Any advice is appreciated!

i just completed a zoom session. During the session the host sent me a link via chat. However, the host closed the meeting before I had a chance to click on the link she sent. Can I still access that link? How do I access that link?

Does anyone know how to merge your Zoom on your iphone with your Zoom on your desktop? Or do I have to re-enter my contacts off my phone? Thank you! 

This is not a problem but rather a curiosity. A few weeks ago I noticed that (using a computer) if you hover over a team chat/contact picture, and select View More, there are some contacts that have a "closest connection" classification, followed by a golden/silver, bronze crown 👑 emoji. I identified "My closest connection" with the golden crown, "2nd closest connection" with the silver and "3rd closest connection" with the bronze one. Has anybody noticed this, and knows how does this classification works? What Zoom takes into consideration to classify those contacts?

I am the admin on my account.  I have set sharing settings so that everyone can share files. I continue to get error messages that say: "Transfer of pdf files is restricted by your account admin." I am the account admin.  I adjusted the settings so we can share.  I still get the error message. Help!

Hi, recently the chat option is disabled for our team, and I wasn't aware of it and now I need to look at the chats that I had in zoom, which is not available. Is there any way I can refer to my chat history?

When you suddenly wonder if something has happened to your editor's brain because you can no longer seem to type anything in Zoom chats that make sense and you know what is on the screen doesn't match what you were thinking when you typed, something is seriously wrong. It wasn't until I tried to retype a grossly skewed entry and watched Zoom swap out my correctly spelled and chosen words to the same wrong words I was trying to correct that I realized what was happening. In every chat since, I've watched Zoom twist my communication, sometimes even removing small words. It's one thing to correct spelling, but to omit and completely change a correctly spelled word to something else sabotages communication and undermines my integrity as a writer and editor. I know better than corrective AI what I'm trying to say. I try to prevent and revert these "corrections," but that's not easy because in fast moving chats I need to focus on th

We terminated a user about 5 days ago and deleted them from Zoom account.  We now have a user that is trying to look back at his chat history with the terminated user and the chat history is gone.  I tried to run a chat history report but because the user was deleted he doesn't show up to select to report on. Is it possible to restore a deleted user and their chat history?

As a paid business user admin, I have disabled Advanced Chat Encryption and it appears to have been disabled when I chat 1:1 with external chat users (our clients) but in group chats it seems to still be enabled. How do I turn this off? Can external users of free accounts disable this feature?

Hi Team,We have noticed an issue where mentions are not appearing in the "Mentions" tab when someone mentions our names in any channel. Instead, we only see a red symbol with "@" next to the channel name.We have tested this on both Ubuntu (Zoom version 6.1.1.443) and Windows (Zoom version 6.1.1) machines, and the "Mentions" tab is not working on either platform.Could you please look into this issue and provide a resolution?Thank you for your assistance.
