Meetings

I'm often in a team meeting with a dozen participants. Normally after each person speaks, they go on mute. However, there appears to be a bug that is triggered by going on mute, that random blips occur, which sound like repeated audio frames from the next person to speak, until the previous person unmutes and re-mutes. We're all on Mac (except one user) and are normally pretty up-to-date (centrally managed, currently all on 5.17.5 (29101) but it's been going on for ages). I've not been able to find out if this is a known bug or not, as searching for this issue comes up with a lot of random unrelated problems.

I am using MacBook bro and desktop app of Zoom with latest version. Yesterday I faced a peculiar issue. While sharing a HD video (through advance sharing option), it suddenly stopped.  Took the following steps however didn't resolve the issue: 1. Unshared the screen and shared screen (screen went black)2. Started the video again. Lastly, I quit the zoom application and started the app again and it solved the problem. Question: 1. Is there is a limitation on length of video which can be shared using zoom share feature.2. Is there a limitation on size of the video which can be shared using zoom share feature. Thanks for help.

Installed new Zoom Workplace on my 64-bit Windows 10 Home setup. All features work accept, when joining a meeting, a dialogue box asks to Join with Computer Audio and then stalls. I have rebooted my machine and even uninstalled the Zoom App and reinstalled it....to no avail.  I don't have this problem with either Microsoft Teams or Google Meet so I guess something is amiss with the software.  Any suggestions please.

Has anyone had issues with people unable to access a zoom meeting because the link does not work?  Also, has anyone found that their recorded zoom calls do not download to their computer storage?   I have experienced multiple issues in the month of May... I hope zoom technical support or management looks at this forum.   At the Pro level, I do not have access to a live chat, or person to discuss technical issues.  This is a problem.  The bots are telling me I am not logged into my account.   Sorry for my rant.  

Hello. I have a problem with joining the Zoom meeting.I can't join Zoom because of the AI program.When I click the 'join the Zoom' button, the AI program shows and doesn't let me in the Zoom.My phone is Redmi Note 11T 5G. If anyone has had the same problem as me, I would appreciate any advice.

If I go into my scheduled meeting in advance of the actual date, just to test it out etc. -- does that start the 30-hour clock ticking? After I finished my test, I clicked "Leave meeting" (as opposed to "End the meeting"). We're more than 30 hours out from my scheduled meeting, so I don't want that clock ticking and the meeting will have expired before we even get to that date. Thanks!

We have  a regular zoom call. The link is public so anyone can join. There are a cohort of regulars attending that informally meet 5-10mins before. The problem is how to let the regulars (or approved attendees) into the meeting room while using a waiting room to manage 'gatecrashers'. I considered adding as Users - the problem is that the if the email is associated with another zoom account, from what i can see, they lose that access and merge details to the inviting account (not useful). Is it possible to whitelist specific emails? (rather than domain, again not useful) . Or enable waiting room by pass by password ? Or can a recurring meeting be set up that requires registration for access, so that new attendees will be required to register (Once) A suggested solution would be much appreciated .  

Hi all, I have the latest updated Samsung Tab S9+ - bought specifically for Zoom meetings. However, on this 1 month old device, when I screen share (normal screenshare), everything looks fine to me, but the participants tell me, that it freezes and my sound dissapears. When I turn off screen sharing and return to the meeting, all is fine and they see and hear me again.Others having this bug? Best,Daniel

At our company we have many machines in which version 6.0.39959 is installed (64bit) and mysteriously after a coupe days version 5.17.34827 also shows itself installed in control panel.  However inside the directory for C:\program files\zoom\zoom 64-bit\ , the only file present is "CustomAction.dll"  .   Why is this version installing itself ?  We cannot figure out why.I would really mind this happening except it will kick people off meetings why it decides to install itself.    

HiI would like to know and be able to export in real time how many zoom meetings my team have completed with their clients. Is there a way of running a cumulative total for the day. Also is there a way of differenciating of when clients showed up and when they didn't? Thanks

I have already watched the Zoom instructional video on this subject and have asked AI. I do not have the "record" tab on my settings list, so I can't enable it.

I've been trying to figure out how to tell which Zoom account I am logged into, as my work has several.  A helpful Zoom tech gave me the answer: Look for your account icon at the top right of Zoom window & click on it.  Hover the mouse pointer over the profile details which shows the partial email address and note the pop-out menu option that says “Show Email” -- click this to display the full sign-in email. I've asked if there is a way to set this to ALWAYS show email address, considering it's not the password and therefore never really needs to be hidden.  Presuming there is presently no setting, I've requested they add one. Perhaps this might help someone else!  😎

If you are assigning random break outs more than once in a meeting, does zoom send the same people into the same room each time? 

In the settings there is an option in screen sharing which you can switch between "show all sharing options" and "share desktop automatically". But is possible to configure the "share desktop automatically" setting anywhere, for not only sharing the main screen? For explanation: in a meeting I have to share multiple times the same (second) screen, but everytime it is needed to select the correct screen, to set the settings "optimized for video + sound" (because in some presentations there are embedded videos with sound). And that's so annoying that it isn't possible to set this selection and options one time and then start the sharing with just one click. Or is there any other solution for this? Or did anyone known a script or app to skip the share selection popup?

whenever I am sharing my screen, I want only one screen to be shared but while sharing my screen if I navigate to other tabs, everything along with navigation and all the tabs are visible. Kindly help with suggestions

I'm trying to publish a Zoom meeting/webinar, and I'm getting this error; "The currency of event tickets is not the same one. Please try to re-create the ticket."I don't understand, as the currency of the event tickets is the same currency I use for my account. Any ideas? 

I noticed a really strange issue on my laptop (Dell XPS Windows 11) since the last update of zoom. The audio on my laptop (through speakers and headphones) only works when a zoom call is active. For example, when I try to watch a movie on my laptop's browser, there is no sound, however, if I open up a zoom meeting and "connect computer audio", the sound on my computer suddenly starts to work. Has anyone experienced this?

I'm working on a iMac running BigSur 11.7.10. I used to be able to use a background or blur the background, but now I am asked to download the background package. I've tried numerous times and the download always fails. The discussion asks me to list the Zoom version. I'm responding to a meeting invitation so I am using Zoom via the internet. So, if there is a version I don't know how to identify that. The only steps I've taken are to try again next time and that obviously has not been a good tactic. 

Hello!  I have a single-user Pro account. I host a 2-hour weekly meeting and would like to share the hosting duties. When I'm unable to host, I either need to quickly provide a code to someone or sign in and make them the host. This is challenging, esp. if I'm traveling. Any suggestions that won't cost $? TIA!

A client is moving to Switzerland which is 6 hours later than my time EST (1pm EST = 7pm Swiss).  Do I simply schedule a meeting to start on EST day/time?  How do I make the meeting invite specify the meeting date/time in both locations?
