Meetings

I call support and provide both the 'personal meeting id' as well as the 'host id' from my profile, but I keep getting the message that based on those my account is not found. I try a number of times ensuring numbers are correct, yet account is not found. Can anyone advise?

I own an online school where use Zoom for our students. We have several classes at the same time and the teachers are not considered as users on our Zoom account. It's difficult for us to start the classes for each teacher and then make then a host. Is there a solution where the teacher can start the meeting directly once schedule by the school on Zoom? We have more than 5 different teachers and they have each 2 hours a week. 

Hi, I have 2 questions re recording, firstly, do you have to have the Zoom app open for a meeting that you are hosting (but not attending) to be automatically recorded to local computer?   Secondly, if you have to have the app open, do you have to be signed in to the specific Zoom account (set up for automatically recording to local computer) for a meeting to be recorded?   I have different accounts due to different organisations that I work for and I have a clash of meetings so I want to attend one via one Zoom account and set the other Zoom account to record automatically to local computer (as it's not possible to be signed into more than 1 account on the same device and I don't have the record to cloud facility) but if I am signed into my other Zoom account on my computer will it prevent the other account to record to that computer?  Thanks in advance for any responses

I have two problems when I am screen sharing.1. The audience sees big black out sections on their screens.  On my screen it is a tool bar.  How to I get rid of the blackout's?2. When I sharing in real-time on my computer, every time a go to a new page, I need to stop sharing and re-share in order for the audience to see my new page.  How do I go seamlessly from one page to another without having to continually stop sharing and then re-share?Please help!

I have two Macbooks: an Intel 13-inch that's a few years old, and a recent 16-inch M3 Pro. They are both running Sonoma 14.6.1. When I use the Intel mac, with my Logitech HD Pro C920 webcam as the microphone, zoom calls work fine, and I see normal sound levels on Zoom's audio settings dialog. With the same camera plugged into the M3 pro, I get little to no sound on the webcam mic, it might just show one red bar, and if I really play a hard guitar chord I can hear a little attenuated blip when I do the "Test mic" procedure. Sound output is via an Audient EVO16. I usually use Original sound for musicians, because this is for guitar lessons, but the same thing happens with "Zoom background noise removal", and "Automatically adjust microphone volume" makes no difference.The microphone in the webcam is selected as the system sound input, and I get normal sound bar levels in the system sound dialog. Hi, running a meeting as host that allows screen share. A user tries to share their screen. The share audio box is checked. In theirs settings all audio is "Same as System". All the others in the meeting can see the screen share but no audio from what is playing from their desktop. On all the the other users, at the top of the screen share shows that the share is sharing audio.All users on using Zoom 6.0.11 Host of the meeting is using Mac OS 11.6User sharing screen is using Mac OS 14.5 User sharing has gone into OS settings -> Privacy -> Screen& System Audio Recording and it is turned onWe've been doing this for the past 3+ years and has worked great.Today it doesn't work any longer. Any ideas?

Hi! When someone registers for a meeting and I want to send reminder emails what link do I use so that everyone who registered can get in without having to re-register? I thought using the link that was added to our calendar would work but that prompted everyone to re-register before hopping on the training.I have another meeting coming up- we used the meeting setting and required registration. What link do I use to send in reminder emails? Thanks!

Hello, I was searching on the web for a problem I had and came across a question that was pretty much what I was trying to do. My community profile was not set up, so I did the setup, then went to answer the post. I answered... twice.. because my first reply was gone when I went back to look at it and so, all my replies are gone. What is up with this? Is there some kind of moderation that need to approve posts I do not know about? I was providing my solution to the issue mentioned in the post. That is not very useful for users if replies get deleted..

I'm following all the instructions, but my new MacBook Pro, with Safari, using Monterey OS 12.0.1 will not let me get past the Launch button. Any ideas?  Zoom works on all of my other devices.

I have several meetings scheduled in the future but I no longer see them in my list of meetings.  The screen requires you to change the date range on a calendar to see the full list, but when I try to do that, it doesn't let me change the range or at best, I can only see 1 month out.  I tried different browsers to no avail. I just upgraded to Windows 11 so I don't know if that is the problem.  I tried looking at the list via my Zoom phone app and  that shows the recurring meetings as 1 single meeting with no date so I can't even see when they are.  Help! 

Where can I find settings that enables members to automatically join a reccurring meeting even if the host is late?

I have folks I need to add to a meeting that already has registrants. Unlike my other recurring meetings with registration, the "Import from CSV" option is not next to the "View" option under the Registration tab. I have another meeting where it is available, so I'm clear on where it should be but have no idea why it is not there for this meeting. 

I am a teacher for a Zen meditation group that meets via Zoom. On Sundays during services, we do meditation for two 30-minute periods. It is during that time that traditionally, the teacher meets with students for one-on-one interviews in private. Breakout sessions seem like a good way to do this, but as I understand it, even if you have a session with only one person, it needs to be set up in advance. It would mean having all students at least assigned to breakouts, one-on-one with me. Is this correct? Also, I don't understand how to 1) start a session during the silent meditation period, 2) signal to the next student that it is his or her turn, and finally 3) given that my own teacher may want to also occasionally offer such meetings, how to set him up as the host of those sessions that he would take part in, one-on-one.

I want to add text to my waiting room screen for participants to read before they enter the meeting. How to?

@layout changesOn the latest rev of ZOOM, the location of the insert (in Share... Layouts and Options) does not hold when recording. It appears correct in the preview but once recorded ends up always in the top right hand corner. This feature worked nicely in previous versions. Any help would be much appreciated.  CheersUBGeoff

When playing music with an instrument causing sound problems for some users, no sound is heard. But again when the same user performs music without instruments, the sound is clear again

I have a pro account. I want to host meetings. I do not have audio on my desktop, can I call in as the host on the phone and manage my meetings that way? I also do not have a camera, but I have a photo and can see everyone in the room.  Thanks.

TLDR: On Mac, I want the share screen, gallery, and BR windows not to move around after I've interacted with them to do an action.  I am using ZOOM 6.1.11 on an M3 MacBook Air with Sonoma 16.6.1 Since transitioning from Windows to Mac, I’ve noticed significant differences in how the ZOOM windows behave. On Windows, when I share screen, I can keep both gallery and share screen windows open on the 1st Monitor without one popping to the 2nd Monitor when I share screen; on Mac, when I share screen and both windows are on Monitor 1, the gallery pops open on Monitor 2, and moves back to Monitor 1 when I stop sharing. I don’t understand why they don’t stay in the position I’ve arranged the Zoom windows, and move around the windows when I share and stop share... For BRs, when I break them out, t

Hello, I need technical support for our system!We recently moved to a new location. The studio is set up again as it was before, and we also have a 1-gigabit internet connection again.Unfortunately, we had a problem during our conference last Wednesday where the audio had about a one-second latency. So when something was said, you could see the mouth movements, and the words came a second later.The problem is that I, as the host, could not see the issue. Everything was synchronized for me. But our call participants had the problem. However, it was only with us. Their video and audio were synchronized with each other. It was just our signal that arrived delayed.We use Sennheiser wireless systems whose audio is sent through a mixing console to an Atem video switcher. Hi All, Can a basic user record the meeting to the cloud if done from a Zoom Room? I know the Zoom room will allow the user to go over the 40min limit I also would have thought it would allow them to record to the cloud but the button is greyed out even tho when I click on Participants it says i'm the Host. Thanks in advance.

I recorded a Zoom meeting to my computer and now it will not open. It states that the link is not valid. Is there anyone that can assist with this?

I held a meeting through my zoom account and ran a poll during the meeting. My issue is, zoom is not showing that meeting on previous meetins or is it allowing me to pull my polling results.  I do not have any other zoom account (organization specific etc.) so I am not sure why it would not show in my account. I am really hoping someone can help me find the poll!  Thank you for any feedback/assistance in advance.
