Hello: On a 2021 14" M1 Macbook Pro running a fully patched instance of macOS 12.1, I have an issue where the background is blurry and if there is more than one person on camera, Zoom will randomly try to  focus on  that person in the background. I have verified and/or tried the following already: 1.  Virtual background is turned off (and therefore, the blurred effect is disabled).  2.  Playing around with various video settings including "HD, "Touch up my appearance", and "Adjust for low light".  Also tried the disabling the de-noise and hardware acceleration under advanced video settings. 3.  Lighting  in room is confirmed as good.4,  Zoom is updated to 5.9.1 (and apparently automatically updated to ensure compatibility with the M1 chip version).5.  Basic Mac troubleshooting included macOS updates, restarting, Disk Utility.   (A

Hi,I just tried to update from 5.12.9 to the latest version on a Win11 PC.  The message is " can only update 5.13.5 or higher.I have tried uninstalling but still get the same message.  I have found no way to make it reinstall

(Windows 11 PC.  New Airpods Pro 2nd Gen).  Airpods paired and connected with PC and work fine with system except when in Zoom.  When I test speaker and mic for airpods I get silence.  If I exit Zoom, airpods work fine when connected to PC.  Zoom audio and mic work fine if I use PC audio/speaker instead of airpods so Zoom audio function is working except when I use airpods.  I have tried various setting options within Zoom but no cigar.  Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

My kid was using Zoom meeting on Windows. But for some reason I have to move on to Ubuntu recently. My kid was frequently using Space bar to unmute  temporarily and ask or say something to teacher while in Zoom Class. But now its not possible in Ubuntu version of Zoom. I tried Zoom version provided by Ubuntu package manager (5.4), and also installed and tried on latest version 5.8 but not fruitful.In list of the shortcuts provided by Zoom Settings, Alt+A is fixed for Mute/UnMute, but no shortcut option available for temporarily Mute/Unmute. Any Help? Thanks in Advance.RegardsShehzad.

Our company utilizes a dual-screen setup during meetings, with one monitor dedicated to screen sharing and the other for viewing participant webcams. Following a recent Zoom update, we've observed that this functionality is no longer available. Is there a specific setting we need to adjust to restore this feature?

I am unable to "double click" to convert recordings as I have done in the past when not done automatically.  Any tricks to get the file to convert to MP4 from Zoom recording? 

I followed the instructions here to deploy the Zoom Outlook extension (for Outlook classic, not OWA) to the whole organization from the M365 admin center: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0062420#h_bd3538e3-dde4-4730-bed9-53363ce4cbee No results. I tested with existing users and a fresh test user and workstation, but the add-in is not installed anywhere. I enabled this months ago. I checked the list of installed COM add-ins, and it's not there, disabled or otherwise. Has anyone had any luck getting this to work? Microsoft just shrugged and fed me Copilot-generated nonsense.

I am using an Acer 3.  Windows 11.I had no problems with Zoom, until last week.When I do the audio test (with my headset, or the laptop speakers) I can hear no sound.The microphone test passes with laptop mic and headset mic.The funny thing is, the last two zoom meetings I was on, I could hear the participants and vice versa, despite the weird audio test problems.What is going on?

Dear All,  receive error in zoom app on windows 10pro 64 bitssystem does recognize mic but in between the call zoom popups with this errormic works well on other tools like MS Teams, skype etc... even zoom web app is working finewe use USB Logitech headset 3.55m jack works but mic with USB headset creates problemswhen error comes, zoom freezes the whole system and even audio drives conflictsthe only option then is to restart

Every time I try to begin the meeting it says "you must update to the latest version of zoom to start this meeting.  contact your IT admin to update."  How do I find an IT admin or where do I go about finding the update to install?

I am the only one on my account, and am assigned account owner.  My Zoom version is very out of date because I do not have separate Admin assigned.  The Zoom Virtual Agent keeps referring me to Zoom Support for Admin Assistance, but I'm in the infinite loop of trying to connect to a life agent and getting cut off. Is there any way out of Zoom hell?  All I want is the latest version!

I have followed all the fixes found here for this issue back in 2022 & 2023, but none of them work for me.  My external webcam started flickering about 6 weeks or more ago and I can't get it to stop.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled to the latest version as of today 5/13/2024, but the flickering continues.  Help!

Hi! For my current role, I schedule out zoom meetings via our LMS and zoom integration. How far in advance can a zoom meeting be scheduled and the link and Meeting ID will stay active? 1 year in advance? Thank you! 

Hi, I removed one of my apps and disconnected it from my account on the Zoom end. I also deleted my account with the app in question - Warmly, as there was no way to toggle the info on/off. Despite that, the information is still displayed on my meeting screen, I've restarted the app and computer, no change. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I can do? It doesn't really make sense to me. I'm on a Mac and have the latest version Version: 5.16.6 (24664). Thanks!I found the solution! I have a contact list that I typed in.  When I want to use it to invite meeting participants, there is no list available.

I have done some recordings over 2 different meetings, and it seems like near the end, the recordings stopped showing up when I clicked convert in the folder. I know it has been saving stuff until 13.18 because it shows, but the last recording appears on 13.08. The most important part of the meeting happened at 13.12, but it isn't showing up in my recordings folder. Is there any way I can recover the video I recorded? The convert button is no longer working, it no longer loads anything.  Thanks for checking my post

Starting yesterday i cannot get into any zoom meetings from the zoom app on my laptop. I can get into a meeting from my ipad. I have followed the instructions to remove Zoom off of my laptop and downloaded it again from Zoom. it does not work. I switched from firefox to Chrome and it still did not work. I have shut off my computer and it still doesn't work. When I try to join from the app by inserting my Zoom number or any other zoom mtg ID it just spins and after four minutes it gives me an unknown error box with the error code 104101. I do a ton of meetings on Zoom. I need this fixed ASAP or I will need to use another service.

I have a system where I have four classrooms with 2 in northern Utah and 2 in southern Utah. They use zoom meeting everyday with Dell OptiPlex 7020 PC. One location when on the meeting will drop several times during the day. 70% of the time it auto reconnects the other you have to log back in and join the call that is still going. We tested this by adding another class at that same location on the same network in the same rack stays online and never drops the call. Now we have tested the network swapped out an old switch to a new one thinking maybe the ports were going bad. Uninstalled zoom and reinstalled it. Nothing at this point has fixed it and I am scheduling a call with Dell so they can remote in at a time they done have class going on.  Wanted to see if someone has experienced this and if there is something with zoom that may be causing the drop or some other thing?

For the past three years, I’ve been hosting a Zoom group with 11 participants, where none of them needed to enter a passcode or waiting room. My settings were configured to automatically embed the passcode, and the waiting room was disabled.After updating the Zoom program, the direct joining feature no longer works as expected.When setting up a meeting under "schedule" and selecting "security," I’m now required to choose between "waiting room" and "passcode." I selected "Passcode," thinking the embedded feature would still work, but it doesn’t. Now, my participants are prompted to enter a code.Do you know why the embedded passcode feature no longer functions?

Hiwe are having issue with the new Ubuntu Version and the Zoom Client.When we are using our headset it does not work. It is working with all other applications and webservices but it does not work with the Zoom Client > tested with the newest one 6.2.6It was working with the older Versions of Ubuntu, other users form our company are having no issues with older Ubuntu Versions.Any other users out there who has made the same experiance?Cheers 

We have a Pro account that is active and up-to-date.  Yesterday, there were some meetings that were correctly set-up for an hour, but ended abruptly part way through.  The ending times were different (not at 40 minutes like the basic plan).   Any thoughts?
