Can you please advise how I can sync with ICal as it is not working anymore and causing much additional effort at the moment. I do not use outlook or google and want to use apple calendar. The seemless sync was one of the main reasons choosing Zoom. Could you please help? Me and my clients are really frustrated.

    Hi @InaL ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The direct sync between Zoom and Apple Calendar (iCal) is currently not working due to changes in recent Zoom updates. The native iCal integration has been removed or broken, and Zoom has not yet released a fix.

    Current Options:

    • Add meetings manually to Apple Calendar using the “Add to Calendar (.ics)” file or by copying the meeting invitation.
    • Use your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) link directly in Apple Calendar events.
    • Keep Zoom updated and check release notes for any updates on restoring iCal support.

Zoom is aware of the issue and investigating, but there’s no confirmed timeline for resolution yet.

    Hope this help!

Zoom - if you won’t let Zoom sync with iCal, you are aking your customers to choose between Apple or Zoom - which one do you think they are going to go with?. I am very close to cancelling my Zoom sub, unless you fix this.

Apple Calendar sync issues with Zoom have been frustrating lately, especially after recent app updates. If the direct sync option disappeared, using the .ics “Add to Calendar” file is usually the quickest temporary fix, and manually saving your PMI link can help for recurring meetings.

Thanks. I use that route happily when people invite me to meetings. But when I set them in my own zoom account, I don’t know how to generate a .ics file - can you help with this? Thanks!

I had been searching for answers and finally found it. But I don’t know how long it’s been there.

Now when scheduling a Zoom, down at the very bottom it gives you the option to select a calendar to export to. iCal is an option.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with iCal synchronization.

I understand how frustrating this must be, especially when seamless Apple Calendar integration was one of the key reasons you chose Zoom and it is now creating extra work for both you and your clients.

To help investigate the issue, could you please provide a few additional details?

    • When did the sync stop working?

    • Are you using Apple Calendar on macOS, iOS, or both?

    • Do you receive any error messages when attempting to sync?

    • Have there been any recent changes to your Zoom account or calendar settings?

Once we have this information, we can guide you through the appropriate troubleshooting steps and determine whether there is a known issue affecting iCal synchronization.

We appreciate your patience and will do our best to help restore the integration as quickly as possible.

    Kind regards,
    Support Team

I am a new Zoom subscriber as of this week and have not been able to figure out how to get my meetings to show up on iCal.  How do you do that?
