Apple calendar sync wirh zoom: how can I restore?

Can you please advise how I can sync with ICal as it is not working anymore and causing much additional effort at the moment. I do not use outlook or google and want to use apple calendar. The seemless sync was one of the main reasons choosing Zoom. Could you please help? Me and my clients are really frustrated.

      Morning All.

      I’m probably from the wrong generation so don’t function as intuitively as needed.

      I’ve just spent over an hour on the Zoom website chatting re. how to sync Zoom invitations to my iphone calendar.

      There must be a simple way of doing this, but I just can’t work it out. I’m doing something wrong, but I don’t know what.

      Does anyone have a simple, “Do this, then tap, that … (etc)”?

      I use Google calendar so assume this creates complications.

      Would appreciate any help.

      Not worth the outrageous price increases when you COMPLETELY screw your Apple customers.  I REFUSE TO USE GOOGLE CALENDAR…I don’t trust Google, and will NOT use their calendar and HACK TOGETHER A SOLUTION.  THIS WORKED WITH APPLE CALENDAR SEAMLESSLY…WHAT HAPPENED?  I’m so ANGRY about this…it’s making my life and using Zoom COMPLETE HELL.

      I should also mention that although it shows me as a newcomer, I’ve been using Zoom for years.  They also just increased the price, so that really stings…take away a critical feature and then think they deserve more money??

      The Apple Calendar (iCal) integration with Zoom has changed, and the direct native sync is currently not available in the same way it was previously. Zoom has indicated that Apple iCal integration is no longer supported for some calendar-integration features.

      If you want to restore your workflow:

      1. Update Zoom to the latest version.
      2. Open your Apple Calendar and make sure your iCloud calendar is still enabled.
      3. For existing Zoom meetings, use Add to Calendar (.ics) from the meeting invitation and add the event to Apple Calendar.
      4. You can also copy the Zoom meeting invitation and add the meeting details manually to an Apple Calendar event.
      5. If you previously relied on automatic Zoom-to-Apple Calendar synchronization, there may currently be no setting that will restore the old direct sync.
      6. If you are willing to use another supported calendar service, Zoom currently supports integrations such as Google Calendar, Office 365, and Exchange Online for its calendar integration features.

      So, if you specifically want Apple Calendar only, the practical workaround at present is to add Zoom meetings using the calendar invitation or .ics file rather than relying on the old automatic iCal sync. A Zoom employee also confirmed in February 2026 that the direct iCal sync was not working and that there was no confirmed restoration timeline at that time.
