I want to say that I don’t like the new, bubbly for a lack of better term, Emojis. They appeared when I restarted Zoom this morning. I think they are too cartoonish and childish looking. They are cartoonish to the level they are distracting to me and I find them annoying. So much so I found this forum just to complain about them. ;-)

I’d much prefer the older ones. If there was a setting to allow someone to choose what they use, on our personal interface, I’d find that preferable to being locked into whatever set is presented in an update.

i see the emojis have been updated again. But theyre not the old emojis. These emojis are even weirder and creepier than the last set.

They are different but they are decidedly not better. Now they’re flattened circles and have a distinctly aggressive look about them. I have to wonder how hard it is for Zoom to get something this simple right. Emojis have been around since the 1990s. Get it right next time -- and soon.
