Trouble with installing Zoom in Linux (Debian)

Hello everyone!

The first time I used Zoom and Workspace in my Laptop (in 2023), the Zoom software was downloaded and installed by a literate-Linux system friend. However, once I updated the Zoom version (2024) and my aforementioned friend and to downloaded and installed the updated version, my Zoom Workplace was no longer ready to use it. For that reason and since then, I have to join my Zoom account through the Zoom Web interface.

The worst part of it is that: the Zoom always asks me to join my Zoom meetings through my Zoom Workplace and sometimes it simply does not allow me to join any Zoom meetings. It is really bothering. I am about to cancel my Zoom account.

Do you have any suggesting I could do before I proceed to cancel my Zoom account? Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback, when you say "my Zoom Workplace was no longer ready to use it", do you mean you have problems signing in zoom workplace or you even can not launch it after installation? Could you help provide a screenshot of the case if possible?

    Thank you for your reply.

I was not able to launch Zoom, from my Work Place, after installation.

Yesterday November the 12th, I had received technical support from a colleague of mine who is literate in Linux and related software installation processes; he said the problem I described above was fixed. Let me check if I can launch Zoom after receiving that technical support. I will get back to you shortly.
