Question

How do I see Webinar Attendees and No Shows in a single report?

In the previous version of Zoom, there was a simple report that showed the webinar details and listed all registrants as either attended or no show. Surely the most basic of webinar reporting requirements.

Now, I can only access a report of attendees which is has 134 columns!! 😳

But nothing about the No Shows.

Zoom Chat Bot directs me as follows when asking for No Shows or non-attendees:

“Non-attendees” usually won’t appear because the webinar reports are primarily attendee-based (people who actually joined). If you’re expecting to see people who registered but didn’t attend, that list is typically shown under registrants/registration reporting, not the attendee report.

Check these two places in the web portal for the past webinar:

  • Webinars > Previous (Past Webinars) > select the webinar > look for a Registration/Registrants report (shows who registered, including those who did not attend).
  • The Attendee report will only include joiners.

If you tell me whether your webinar required registration, I can point you to the exact report to use.”

Notice the language is very non-committal. “usually won’t appear “ and “that list is typically”. Is it, or isn’t it?

Either way the suggested path...

Webinars > Previous (Past Webinars) > select the webinar > look for a Registration/Registrants report (shows who registered, including those who did not attend).

… yields no such Registration/Registrants report.

Surely - the easiest place for this report would be under the past events area.

Any suggestions?

I’d expect this to be available in one combined report too. Having to dig through 134 columns just to find attendance data is a pain. The registrants report should include everyone who signed up. It would be useful to have an attended or no-show status beside each name. Hopefully Zoom brings back a simpler version of this report.
