Zoom license expired and webinar link changed?

My zoom webinar license expired while I had a webinar set up and had sent the link out to all the attendees. After I renewed my license, the Zoom webinar link changed. Luckily, I noticed that they were not the same link and sent out an email to all attendees. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this something that will occur if my license expires?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @bridgetweston.

I've never let my license expire, but from the documentation I've read, the experience of others I've talked with, and my general sense of how Zoom normally handles this type of situation, a lot depends on how long the license has lapsed.  Certainly any lapse more than 30 days will likely cause the pre-existing webinar to be deleted, and you would have to re-schedule your webinar with all new information.  At the 7 day point, there is also likely some activity in the back-end that might alter the characteristics of your Webinar.

If you are going to drop-and-renew your license, I highly recommend starting out creating a Meeting, and once you've (re-)acquired your Webinar license, convert the meeting to a Webinar. This is easily done at the bottom of the screen (don't click Edit for the meeting, click the meeting name instead):
