Webinar isn't recorded

We held an event using two separate links: one for the practice session and one for the official session. The practice session was successfully recorded and appeared under “Records & Transcript,” but the official session did not, even though I’m quite sure all the necessary recording settings were enabled.

Is there still any way for me to recover or access the recording?

Hello, @Hoang Ha!

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We’re excited to have you here.

If the official session was recorded to the cloud, there are still a few places it may appear even if it’s not currently showing under Recordings & Transcripts.

• Confirm you’re signed in as the correct host

Only the meeting host’s account can access cloud recordings by default. If the official session was hosted under a different Zoom account (even within the same organization), the recording would appear in that host’s Recordings & Transcripts page instead of yours.

• Check both “Cloud Recordings” and "Trash."

Sign in to the Zoom web portal and go to Recordings & Transcripts.

From there, check:

– Cloud Recordings

– Trash  (recordings can be deleted and still recoverable from there, depending on timing/account settings)

• Verify you’re reviewing the correct meeting instance

Make sure you’re checking the correct meeting ID/session and that the cloud recording settings were enabled for the official session link—not only for a practice or test session.
