Desktop software does not open if I click on the Zoom-link for the webinar

Hi there,

 

I have had that for a while on my PC: When I receive a link for a Zoom-webinar and click the link ..... nothing happens. Desktop-zoom (which is installed of course) .. is not opening. 

 

Sometimes I could copy the ID of the seminar from the link, open the destop version of Zoom and paste it in there and participate in the webinar. 

 

I think there most be some problem with windows. Reinstalled Zoom. Checked the standard-Apps, but could not find a solution so far. 

 

Can anybody help, please?

    When you click on the link to a meeting it should redirect to a web page that looks like the picture below. On that page, you see a "launch now" or "launch meeting" link. Clicking this should launch your meeting in the app. Your browser should also prompt you to ask if you wish to remember this behavior for future meetings.
