Hello @Krosscheck,
Good question. What you're seeing is expected behavior.
In a Zoom webinar, attendee names are not visible before they enter the webinar. Unlike a Zoom meeting, webinars do not have a waiting room that shows who is waiting to join. Before attendees enter, hosts can only see the number of people waiting.
If knowing who has arrived early is important, here are a few options that may help:
- Turn on registration so you can see who has signed up before the event. This won't show who has already joined early, but it does let you know who is expected to attend.
- Require attendees to sign in to Zoom if you want more reliable attendee identification after they join.
- If your workflow depends on seeing who is waiting before admitting them, a Zoom meeting may be a better fit since Meetings support a Waiting Room that displays participant names.
At this time, there isn't a setting that allows webinar hosts to see the names of attendees before they enter the webinar.
Thanks for sharing your use case. If this is something you'd like to see in the future, we encourage you to submit it as a feature request through the Zoom feedback process.
