Can't find the saved chat...

OK, I've been using saved chat for a long time. Sometime in February, the chats are saving somewhere else. I can't find them in my local Zoom folder or on the Recordings tab. Help!

    I have no clue where they are.  I need this information as well.  I've looked on my computer n the Downloads folder and on my Desktop.  No sign of them.  I looked on Zoom in the Recorings folder.  

    Could someone give us a hint, please?

    FOUND IT!  on your computer, go to the DOCUMENTS folder.  In there is a Zoom folder.  Your chats should be there.  (To get this information, I went to Billing and Accounts.  there is a chat function there.)

    Hello,

     

    Manually saved chats are saved in your Documents folder / Zoom / Folder with meeting name, date, and time.

    In-meeting/webinar chats will not be saved if you start your meeting or webinar from the Zoom mobile app.

     

    How to access your saved in-meeting chat in the computer default save location

    The in-meeting chat will be saved to your local recording location. The default is your Documents folder / Zoom / Folder with meeting name, date and time.

    View the local recording path

    1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
    2. Click your profile picture, then click Settings

    3. Click Recording.
      By Store my recording at, this will list the selected default recording path.

     

    Auto save in-meeting chat has to be enable by the Zoom admin and also by the user. Note: Auto-saving chat will only auto-save for the host; thus, the host has to be present in the meeting for a local chat transcript to be saved.

     

    If you are a licensed user with cloud recording enabled, you can choose to save your in-meeting chat to the Zoom Cloud when you cloud record.

     

    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
    2. In the navigation menu, click Recordings.
    3. Click the Cloud Recordings tab.
    4. Click the meeting topic.
      This will show all files for your meeting. You can download, share, or delete the TXT file called Chat file.
