Hello,
I am working on an automation project using Zoom Room Controls, aiming to control external devices, such as lamps or fans, allowing them to be turned on and off directly through the Zoom interface.
Currently, I am using a Sonoff device, a Wi-Fi relay that enables internet connectivity, configured with the Tasmota firmware. However, when I previously opened a ticket with Zoom support, I was informed that it is not possible to control devices via HTTP requests within Zoom Room Controls. The only communication formats supported are UDP or TCP.
When considering integration via TCP, I realized it would require creating a local broker for each client or utilizing a cloud broker. However, this approach is neither practical nor easy to maintain.
With this in mind, I would like to ask the community if anyone can recommend a device or solution that offers easier integration with Zoom Room Controls.
The main goal is to find a Wi-Fi relay compatible with Zoom Room Controls to automate rooms and control devices directly through the Zoom interface.
Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to hearing your suggestions.
Best regards,

Yikes, does it have to be wireless? If you're putting this much thought and effort into an automation, I would strongly advise keeping away from wireless tech in any designs - it's an old-school way of thinking, but you're going to have less headaches in the long run.
For relay control, you have a ton of TCP/IP options - something as simple as the Global Cache IP2CC iTach TCP/IP to Contact Closure Network Adapter (which ZR Native Room Controls explicitly support and use in example files) will do the trick.
Wireless? Still need to solve for power. But looks like they do make these.
Of course, Crestron, Extron, QSC, etc are all options for this as well, but these seem like overkill for your project.

Yes, in this case, I do need a wireless solution. The goal is to have everything fully automated within a Zoom Room Controls setup, following the client’s requirements. While I understand the reliability concerns with wireless technology, the project demands flexibility in deployment without extensive cabling.
That said, I appreciate the recommendation of the Global Cache IP2CC iTach TCP/IP to Contact Closure Network Adapter—it seems like a solid option, especially given its native support in ZR Controls. I’ll also explore wireless alternatives that can handle power efficiently.
Crestron, Extron, and QSC are great options, but for this implementation, something more streamlined is preferable. If you have any suggestions for reliable wireless relay control that integrates well with Zoom Room, I’d love to hear them!
