I've been having an ongoing issue that's slowly been getting worse. My phone won't ring at all, either on my headset or the speakers I have set to ring simultaneously. If I disable the setting to ring simultaneously, my headset rings fine. But I cannot wear that every minute of the day. It also shuts off automatically, so if a long enough time passes between calls, I won't get a ring. I've attempted to contact Zoom support, but it's terrible, I can't speak to technical support through any means. I've attempted a reinstall and an update. and I've checked, all my audio drivers are up to date.

hi @KEY1

for the zoom workplace desk app, the phone only rings on what device you have selected as your speaker.

simultaneous refers to more than one device such as desk app, mobile app or multiple desk phones.  if you have enabled multiple devices, then you can have multiple devices ring simultaneously or sequentially.

hi @KEY1

i was wrong about the phone only rings on what device you have selected as your speaker.  i forgot that zoom workplace client also has an audio setting that permits you to select 'separate audio device to play ringtone simultaneously'.

have you tried cleanzoom to completely remove zoom workplace client and then re-install the zoom workplace client?

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zoom application

if using cleanzoom does not fix the problem, what make, model, operating system, version and update are you using on your pc?  what are you using for headset and speaker including make, model, firmware, etc.?  if you are using a laptop, does the problem exist when on battery and or plugged in?
