Transcription of Phone Calls

I can get transcriptions of voicemails left for me but I cannot fathom how to get transcriptions of the occasional ad-hoc recorded phone call:

So I go to account settings:

Checking under both the "Recording" and "Zoom Phone" tabs I can find no way to turn on "Allow call recording transcription". I've also searched Google and the community here but couldn't see a post on it. If it already exists, sorry!

You can set the recording transcription by going to Phone system management>Company INfo>select the site you need call recording transcription on>Policy.

Hi, I have updated the policy to allow a transcript but how do I access / download the text for the ad-hoc transcript?  
I can download the mp3 recording but how do I download the text?

You can't directly. One has to use the API!!! See this article: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Phone-System/Zoom-phone-audio-transcripts-text-file/m-p/100072#M4914

This shouldn't need a feature request ffs, it should be available if referred to as a selectable option in user and Call queue 

Hi - I need to download transcriptions but have no abilities whatsoever with APIs. 

 

Any advice?

This will be tedious and time consuming if you need to do this regularly or in bulk: For voicemails one can manually copy the transcripts. This assumes: 1) the calls is routed to a Call Queue and 2) that you have enabled Include voicemail transcription. Recording audio can then be played with the text transcription now visible to be manually copied.
