How to paste a copied number in Android mobile app

I continue to be baffled as to how it is I cannot paste a phone number when bringing up the keypad dialer on the mobile app.   I keep thinking there must be a way.  If not, what is the best work around besides writing the number down and manually dialing it?  🙂

It's not obvious, but there is a space that you can tap and paste to. It's in the middle of the white space above the numbers on the keypad (see attached screenshot).

You can also tap the silhouette at the bottom to choose from your phone's contacts, as well as other user's in your Zoom Phone Account, as well as External Contacts and Personal Contacts in your Zoom Account set up on the Zoom Web Portal.
