"Turn On Reactions" MacOS desktop notification

I abhor automatic gesture reactions in Zoom so I've disabled them.

Recently, Zoom started popping up desktop notifications every time I start a new meeting - not traditional desktop notifications but one that hangs off the camera icon in the MacOS taskbar (Sequoia 15.2).

This is horrible. How do I make it stop?

Grr, I would upload an image but this forum isn't letting me.

The notification reads:

Turn On Reactions

"zoom.us" has turned off Reaction effects. Click <camera icon> and select Reactions to add more impact to your gestures.

I also have this issue and cannot figure out how to resolve it.

Same - this is driving me crazy.  I actually have reactions on.  I don't really care, but what I do care about is a dumb popup coming up literally every time I start a meeting with no way or directions on how to get it to stop.  Worse yet, the little "X" in the corner doesn't even work.  you have to click the zoom icon in the menu bar for it to go away.

Come on zoom..you can do better than this.

Same as everyone else has said, we need to be able to disable this. How did Zoom not catch this before releasing it? Do y'all use your own software?

Same issue as everyone else and it's driving me crazy. The "x" to exit out of the pop up doesn't work, and it shows up on every single meeting. 😑

Pretty sure this is a Mac problem and not a Zoom problem. I also thought it was zoom, but just had the same thing happen joining a Google Meet call.  Not finding a way to turn it off, unfortunately.

Same. This is driving me nuts!! I don't know why, its such a small thing but its every meeting and when you do several meetings all day long its just this thing that gets under your skin.

Apparently this is a common macOS problem as it also effects Google Meets and other video chat applications. At the same time, this should be vetted by all applications on their respective OSes before release as this is super irritating and a superior application would look to mitigate it over the competition.
