Zoom link invalid after meeting reschedule

Hi,

 

We are facing issues with the zoom link  each time we reschedule a meeting.

When a recurring meeting instance is rescheduled few times, the zoom link gets invalid.

 

Others facing this issue too ? any fix from zoom ?

 

We would expect that when a meeitng is rescheduled, the link automatically updates and works for new instance too.

Are you using a certain frequency for the recurring meetings?  I just choose "meet anytime" and have never had a problem.

Yes several meetings are set at a specific frequency, such as monthly, bi-weekly. But for certain reasons, we may move only one instance of that recurring session without changing the whole series.

So if we move a couple of instances of a particular series, we find this problem that the meeting link becomes invalid.

 

It is happening to everyone using zoom in our org.

Recurring meetings can get tricky when changing the cadence particularly when updating individual instances. We use a Zoom app, Salepager, to manage our recurring meetings that sends out the latest link when making updates to avoid any confusion.

Hi:  I am having a similar problem.  Is there a way to see when a Zoom Meeting ID is going to become "Invalid."  I support several executives and I would like to proactively review scheduled meetings to make sure that it is not at the "last minute" that we find out a Zoom Meeting ID no longer is active.  Any thoughts - best practices?  TIA
