Zoom is not Connecting on my Mac

Despite trying to connect to meetings, zoom will not connect on my Mac book pro. Internet connectivity is good.

Having the same issue after updating to the latest OS patch, box pops up and it just hangs there and application goes not responding and I have to force close.

Hi alwaya,

Wondering:

* Have you updated your Mac Operating System software, and updated Zoom to the newest available.

 * whether you are trying to connect on the Zoom webpage portal by using a link to a meeting,

or

are trying to connect by clicking "Join" and entering the Meeting ID in the Zoom desktop window ?

Whichever you are using, if it doesn't work ...you might want to  try the other option ?
