by installing previous version had solved

Zoom.exe Entry Point Not Found AppData\Roaming\Zoom\bin\viper.dll issue

Thank you @LK_EXN

hope the next version won't have this issue

I had the same problem. I went from Version 6.5.1 to 6.4.3. At least it seems to have installed correctly without any error message. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on whether everything works correctly for a meeting this evening.

Zoom's written in qt6. Seems that API of windows_10_ltsb_2016 doesn't support "get/setthreaddescription", but qt6 requires that functions recently. New version of Viber has the similar issue.

Same here on AWS Workspaces Windows Server 2016 OS.

Windows 11 working fine.

We're testing rolling back to previous versions..

Failed versions:

6.5.1.6476

6.5.0.6118

Working versions:

6.4.12.64384

Zoom support case raised, the first answer from probably first line support was to refer to this article:

https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0070085

Where they ask to "reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1."

This is annoying if we have to do that... I've asked to escalate it.

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

@MGSR I have updated to the latest again & tried the Zoom article KB0070085 that (WinZoomer) mentioned to which the issue persisted. We have reverted back to an older version again.

Have the same issue since the June and July monthly updates we do for the Zoom.  Going back to the May release 6.4.x fixes the issue.  I have a case open - TS1915522, that is going no where.  Please help.
