Zoom App stopped logging in / working after upgrading to macOS 15

I just updated to macOS 15 sequoia. My app has been unable to login. It was giving me an error early on, but I did not make note of it. I updated zoom to 6.2.0 (by downloading it from the website), and I was still having issues. First I tried to change my login to use a password and not just click the google button. That seemed to work at first, but I could not join meetings and it claimed I was offline.

I downgraded to 6.1.11, and found it worked once, but I could not join a meeting. I tried talking to the chatbot which was hit or miss. It suggested I look at my logs and send them to support, but I don't think I have access to support's email (and I don't see an error in the logs). The other options seems to be to create a support ticket, but I do not see a clear way of doing so.

The error I'm currently getting is "You are unable to connect to Zoom. Please check your network connection and try again." I currently have about 400Mbps up and down.

Issue got resolved through following steps :

1. open Firewall settings

2. Unblock Zoom from the list

I reinstalled the previous version of macOS, used cloud backup to restore my files, waited a week or so, got zoom working as it had been, and re-upgraded macOS. When I checked my system after the upgrade, my firewall was not active, so I do not know if the firewall solution will work in all cases. There may be a fix in some software somewhere, or my computer got into a strange state that a fresh macOS install got me out of.

I am also facing same issues.

I ended up reverting to macOS 14.7 Sonoma. Which wasn't easy.

I like the solution. Has this worked for anyone else? (I will try it this week -- hopefully tomorrow, but I don't have the bandwidth to upgrade and have zoom not work today. )

yes. Unblocking Zoom form Firewall settings worked for me.

Thanks. It worked for me. What are the implications in terms of securities ...I do not know.

This is interesting. After I reinstalled the previous macOS, then upgraded, my firewall was off. When I turned it on, zoom seemed to still be working. My firewall currently allows downloaded and signed software (such as Zoom) internet access, but I don't know what the settings were before.

I wonder if a solution like this one works..? I haven't re-updated my macOS to try.
