What happens if my Internet pauses...

I have a meeting planned for tomorrow.

Over the past six months, I have had issues with my Internet. There are very brief moments where I am disconnected. I have contacted the provider and they sent a tech out. He told me he thought my modem was bad. I bought a brand, new unit, modem/router combo. Spent $$$.

Still having these brief moments where I have connection issues.

What happens during the meeting tomorrow if that happens? Everybody will be disconnected? How do they rejoin?

What do I do?

Thanks.

Generally, Zoom will try to reconnect you to the meeting if your internet connection drops out. If it succeeds, you will pop back in the meeting, only having missed a few seconds to a minute. If it cannot reconnect in enough time, it will drop you from the meeting, but everyone else should be unaffected. In that case, you would just need to rejoin.

I am the host. Am I going to lose these people? Are they going to have to rejoin?

Doesn't matter. Just you will lose connection, but others should be unaffected.

Is the same true for Webinars?   If the host loses internet connection, everyone else will stay on?
