On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

NDI Virtual Input has stopped working in Zoom only

I use a Mac Mini running Sequoia. I use NDI virtual input as an external camera for Zoom. It worked fine until a couple weeks ago and now although I can still select NDI video, and although the camera works fine in PTZOptics, NDI video monitor and OBS, Zoom only displays a black/blank screen.

  1. Have you updated Zoom Workplace since the virtual input (I assume you're talking about "NDI Webcam Input") last worked?
  2. Have you updated NDI tools since the virtual input last worked?
  3. If either (or both) of these, have you tried rolling the software back to the version being used in the last known working configuration? Does this resolve the issue?

If the issue is found to be associated to a specific version of Zoom, you'll want to submit a support ticket and get this escalated to engineering.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't work for me.  I still don't have an option like I used to of NDI for video.  It's there for audio but not video.  Any solutions?
