Changing resolution

Hi

I work with people in different countries using Zoom. They take a video and I see it live - on line.

The video is unstable. I assume it is because they use hi res camera' so I want to reduce the resolution of the transferred video.

I cannot ask them to change the resolution because they are completely lost.

Can I change the resolution of the video transmitted to me?

Thanks

Avigdor

Hey @Avigdor, you can try to go to the Zoom App Settings > Video > Advanced and uncheck 'Use Hardware Acceleration for receiving video if its check, if it's unchecked by default try checking it to see if that makes a difference.

Ensure you have a strong internet connection for both the Host and Participant.

As you send and receive the same resolution, unfortunately, you cannot change the resolution. Possibly if your camera has a 3rd party app to control those settings. If you have Group HD or HD enabled, try disabling this as well.

Let me know if any of the suggestions help you improve your meeting experience!
