Answering questions during interpretation

Hello,

We host meeting with interpretation in different languages; however, when a person in a language room other than the host room, asks a question, host does not hear the person and the interpreter. How can we communicate with the host in this case?

If the host needs to hear the interpreters, which is not always the case, then the host has to change their Language channel to the channel they wish to hear. At times this may take a creative approach on their part of having multiple Zoom logins that they can monitor.

In some cases, it might work better to establish a backend Comms Channel that can be used separately from the meeting. This way you can speak back and forth without being heard in the meeting. That is as long as you mute your meeting microphone when speaking on Comms.
