Greetings Bri and team.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Definitely loving the vibe here within the Zoom community so far. I appreciate the opportunity to share and to also receive guidance. I believe that life is a learning  process and that each day in no matter how small a way we are presented with opportunities to grow. This applies to all spheres of life.

I have been using Zoom personally for a few years. Been on a personal licensed account for more than 2 years. Due to work, I have been on an educational license for the past few months as our institution transitioned from another web conferencing tool. It has been an eye-opening and enlightening time as I slowly get to know more features.

Using your template here are my answers to the questions posed:

Location: Kingston, Jamaica

Favourite things to do: Watch a good movie. Preferably something in the comedy/drama/action line.

How long have I been using Zoom? Definitely more than 4 years. Can’t recall the exact number.

What’s your go-to virtual background? I like anything that gives a relaxing yet professional look at the same time. An office chair against a wall with palms or large window with greenery outside are my top choices.

What’s the most unique Zoom even you’ve attended in the last year? A short course that was delivered primarily via Zoom. The facilitators really made good use of Zoom to deliver the course as they integrated other educational technologies. They really did deliver some good concepts and showed how Zoom can be used to engage an audience as material was being delivered.

Regards,

Hey everybody.

I'm Jonathan and I'm joining from St Petersburg, FL USA.

Favorite things to do are writing, creating or designing content, painting and knowing/seeing that I've made an impact/difference in some way.

I'm semi-new to zoom. On again-off again relationship out of necessity but now I'm looking more into it.

Go to background is the wall behind my desk in my home office that's shamelessly decorated with my paintings.

And, lastly the most unique zoom event I've attended would be pretty much every second of my data feed history. I run 2 small businesses, the primary of which I offer services as a Spiritual Counselor-Advisor and Psychic Medium so there's always usually something interesting coming up.

Enough about me... Next! 😉

Hello Zoom Community,

I have been introduced to the Zoom virtual meetings by San Jacinto College South Campus counselors.  I was more than happy to learn the new technology at hand.  Today I am glad to work with Primerica as an independent contractor in the business.  Sometimes I do use Zoom virtual meetings with my family and friends.

Location: Near Liverpool/Manchester, North West England, Great Britain.

Present Occupation: Recovering from a Stroke, interacting with others on a free Zoom account and having fun.

😃

How long have you been using Zoom? Started around beginning of the covid era, with family, to enable contact, and have fun.

Virtual background: My device is old with slow graphics not able to have a background but at least I am able to video chat with others.

Recent events: I run a regular meeting for other stroke survivors like myself and have recently been invited to run a zoom quiz night for carers, (individuals who support the disabled).

Aims: To meet others, exchange experiences, have fun and make some progress in my recovery from Stoke.

Stroke is an event where a bleed or blockage in the brain causes all sorts of negative results. These events can range from death to loss of all sorts of bodily function. Survivors like myself do have a chance of  a meaningful life and a degree of recovery. Even a chance to have some fun. 😄
