How to FIND public zoom events?

Hello,

I work in a library and some of our (senior citizen and otherwise lonely) customers have asked if there is a way to find zoom events that are just generally open to the public.

I have read about how to list events on a public calendar, but I can't seem to find a way to access the public calendar from a basic/free account.

Thank you!

    Hello @Librio

Feel free to check out OnZoom: https://on.zoom.us/ here you will find all kinds of events that are free to the public some of which do require you to purchase a ticket. If you are specifically looking for free events here is a directly link: https://on.zoom.us/e/view/search/all?maxPrice=5000&minPrice=0&priceType=FREE&type=0&date=all

    Hello,

Yes, there are some public Zoom events available, but Zoom itself does not currently provide one central public directory of all open meetings for free/basic users. Public events are usually shared by the organizers through community pages, event platforms, libraries, universities, hobby groups, or social organizations.

You may find public Zoom events through:

    • Zoom Events listings (when organizers choose to make them public)

    • Community centers and libraries

    • Senior citizen organizations

    • Meetup groups

    • Online classes, book clubs, and hobby communities

    • Facebook Events or Eventbrite listings that include Zoom links

For seniors and socially isolated patrons, many libraries and nonprofits also host recurring virtual social hours, technology help sessions, discussion groups, and educational talks over Zoom.

A free Zoom account can still join public meetings if the organizer shares the meeting link or ID publicly. The limitation is mainly that Zoom does not offer a built-in searchable “public meeting calendar” for all users.

    Thank you!
