Hi,

I’m from Edmonds WA, just 15 minutes north of Seattle.

I’m new to zoom. I’ve attended 3 meetings now.

I like gardening and taking walks with my little pomeranian.

I want to put on a natural background but I haven’t figured out how to yet.

Right now I’m attending nutrition calls which are very informative, I’ve got more scheduled.

Hello,

I’m a newbie to Zoom.  I live in a suburb of Seattle WA.

Right now I’m attending several nutrition classes on Zoom in the evening.  I’m enjoying them and learning a lot.

I had to ask for help on the community board.  I received a great response from a member who solved the problem I was having. I’m so glad I joined the community.

My hobbies are gardening and growing veggies although I’m battling bugs and critters who seem to get to many of my veggies before I do.

I am retired.  I have a small Pomeranian, all of 6.5lbs.  All of our children are gone so we are empty nesters.

I have 3 grandsons ages 15-20 who live next door to us.

I’ve been married for 51 years (just dated myself)

Thanks Pamela.

I’ll date myself now. I was born in 1946. I don’t do much gardening but I was born and reared on a small farm in west Wicklow; so small that we could almost bring it in when rained! I spent the first quarter century of my life there and then went to Dublin where I still live. I worked for a passenger transport company for 37 years and retired in 2011. My wife is incapacitated and I am her carer. You’ll find some of my rubbish on my website; www.mattielennon.com so I’m “grounded” and can’t attend live Toastmaster meetings. I was a member of Lucan Toastmasters club for 15 years. My hobbies? I try to write a bit. You’ll find some of my rubbish on my website; www.mattielennon.com  I have five grandchildren.

Keep in touch.

Nice to meet you Mattie.  My husband pretty much is my caretaker anymore. I no longer drive and my gardening is very limited.  I miss both to be honest.  I have something called Trigeminal Neuralgia. It's beyond painful if I'm not heavily medicated.  That's why I'm so limited.  The meds make me crazy dizzy 😵.  I've been dealing with it for 13 years. Do you know anyone with TN? Being a caregiver is a full-time job and depending on the depth of the requirements can be overwhelming.  I hope you are taking care of yourself too. Again very nice to meet you.

Hi all!

Location: Tampa, Florida

Favorite things to do: Too many? Let’s not open that Pandora’s box 🤣

How long I’ve been using Zoom? Years… Maybe since 2014 or 2015? Shortly after the early releases. See first impression below 😉

What’s your go-to virtual background? Actually, I don’t often use them.

What's the most unique Zoom event you've attended in the last year? Sounds sad, but it wasn’t - a funeral. It was very healing for folks who couldn’t make the trip.

Confession: Zoom Reddit has been my resource for years. Hoping more folks move over here.
