Zoom Rooms Mandatory for Pro Membership?

Is Zoom Rooms a service you have to have as part of the pro membership? We have 2 users/admins and do not split anything into separate rooms for small group discussion. Is that what Zoom Rooms is for? We tutor one on one and sometimes use the whiteboard and do share our screen, etc. a lot. 

Does it cost extra?

If it is not a necessary part of the account in our case, is there a way to delete Zoom Rooms?
